    108 Infantry
    4 Tanks,

The basilisks, mortars, and snipers are there to pin the enemy down for lots of hits. The conscripts are a meat shield to keep the basilisks safe. The comissar keeps them from running, and the hellhound burns the mobile elements. The HQ Command squad acts as a counterassault force.

    Where's your Baritone Saxophone?

its a good list but i have a few suggestions.

Firstly i'd cut down on the crap. ie dont upgade anything that u dont have to. Just leave your commanders as basic as they come.

id get rid of some of ur special weapons like the sniper rifles. in theory they r good but when it comes down to it you are just forfieting more guys for a weapon that will do minimal damage and is unlikely to pin anything down.

While ur 3 basilisks are good i kinda think u went a bit overboard. No one will want to play you if u have 3 huge blasts raining down on them each and every turn.

With the extra pionts from the special weapons + the upgardes and maybe a tank or two u should be able to buy another squad or maybe some stormtroops.

Crap? Crap? They ain't crap. Upgrades aren't crap (unless it's microsoft) tooled up HQs like yours are great fun and deadly. Your army is great although I think you should get rid of the sniper rifles in the basic squads and take rocket launchers instead, you do need some anti armour. You need some lascannons to kill terminators so drop a mortar team and take an anit tank squad, drop some of the conscripts to make room if you need to. Get rid of the strom bolters on your Characters though, not much point really since you only get two S4 AP5 shots. Normal lapistols will serve you better by giving you an extra power thingee attack. Give your commissar a power fist that way you can hide it in all of the conscripts, deadly and sneaky.

Hmmm. the basilisks. I think you should drop two, yes two. There's noway you can hide them all and they're gonna at the veryleast get shaken and won't be able to fire due to their poor armour value, lot's of useless points basically. And to make things worse they are your only tough armour save busting units. So drop two and take a well kitted Leman russ or a moderately kitted leman russ demolisher. It will improve your firepower and take some shots away from your troops

One last thing, would you like me to make you an army list based on what I have just said here, tell me if you do.

Tooled up IG HQ's are like buying basic Marines. In fact, a tooled up HSO would probably die to a couple of marines that charged him.

IG HQ's are for one thing only: Support. Use them to make sure that your army has a high leadership so that they don't run, then give them Iron Discipline so that if they DO run, then they can have a chance to rally under 50%.

My reasoning behind the many sniper rifles is the pinning tests. I like the idea of pinning them down, and raing down death, I.E. basilisks and mortars. A termie unit is bound to take a few casualties. Your points are valid, but my style is best represented by M.C. Hammer. "Can't touch this."

Now that we have that clarafied, a few things, are there any better choices for this role. And does anyone like the SanPsk w/HI and FW?

Hehe, that was funny. But quoting some rapper does not make the point any more valid.

You have got too many points invested in pinning weapons which are only effective verses horde armies and therefore you do not have enough effective guns to properly damage your opponent.

My Complete waste of points, Crappily upgraded HQ unit kicks ass. They annhilated my friends Ork warboss with a bolt pistol shot and combat in one turn, then they killed 8 shoota boyz in combat while only losing 3 men :realmad:
    Wins from my armies.
