Ok. it been a while since i posted. havent had much time with my new job here in Iraq. but i been thinking. some of you might remember that i wanted to do an Ecclisearchy army. well, i was wondering, would there be a way fluff wise to make a laymens army for them that turned to worshipping chaos? and if so, what would be the best codex to use? was thinking either IG or LatD. what you guys think. thanks.
The sands of time consume all in the end. Beware, for we, the Kings of Nehekhara, are those sands made flesh.
Possibly chaos cultists from the Chaos Space Marines codex, or mutants from the Witchhunters codex.
Take a Lost and the Damned Army with nothing but Traitors - model your Arch-Heretic as a Rogue Preacher... PDF Forces could be swayed by a Ranting Demagogue... Or possibly have your Arch-Heretic as the Cardinal, and your "Aspiring Champions" as Preachers... The only thing you have to work around is explaining their 3+ save for WYSIWYG
That, and when you come up to play against a Witchhunter player, you can whip out a Rogue Psyker and have it be 100% Fluffy...
You could also do it with a standard Imperial Guard army, but you have to be careful what units you pick and how you model them. Preachers would be okay in that mess...
The Mutants in the Witchunters are BASED on the Mutants in the Eye of Terror - Lost and the Damned, however they cost more points for the same things... Use Eye of Terror and get to torturing the poor "innocents" of mankind...
Other than that, I have no real specifics for ideas.
