Im taking part in a local GW's campaign and I was wondering whether this army list is good or not. I have to go against: Tyranids
lots of chaos
and all types of SMs
4 units of 3 rangers
Fire Prism Grav Tank, Crystal Targeting Matrix
Thats 6 rolls on the ranger disruption table and 19 sniper rifles 7 of which are AP1 on a 4+ to hit and the rest are on a 6+. What do you guys think?

As per samuria socks, I dont liek the Avatar, fluff asside I think you may get more value from a farseer
I also dont like the Prism, would rather take a falcon
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I think that its probably better to drop the Fire Prism and go with 2 Vipers. They are 50 points each, but if you go with 2 bright lances, you have a better chance of killing things then with one shooty thing on the fire prism.

as said before, drop the avatar and wraithlord, they are nice and fluffy, but Vs chaos and marines.......
a farseer and some more rangers | pathfinders will do the trick.
if your playing agressive SM and chaos (very CC oriented), you might want a good counter charge unit.
I like your list, i mean you could keep your avatar and wraithlord as counter chargers. It would work well. Wraithlords dominate everything but powerfisted SMurfs in CC.
But if you wanted to change it then i would reccomend either a squad of scropions of banshees depending on who you are playing.
Im not a great fan of the prism cannon, because of bad experience but it can do wonders if you know how to use it
Yeh, remove the avatar, stick with the feel of the ranged army by adding a farseer with eldritch storm or mind war and then sit back and blast. The wraithlord will need to be hidden, wait for the enemy to come to you and then counter-charge it with the wraithlord. Against that kind of firepower, nothing will survive in a shooting match, especially with AP 1 on a 4+, so they'll be forced to get close to the 'lord and a big hug. I'd switch the fire prism to a falcon, I'd prefer the pulse laser and a starcannon to anything else, seeing as the pulse laser is enough to destroy many a vehicle you'd find in 750 points. Also, it may be an idea to include a few striking scorpions in that army, just to add a tiny bit of combat punch along with the wraithlord, and maybe even some guardians to keep the rangers out of combat for as long as possible.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
