What'cha think? Any good?
Iron Within, Iron Without.
Ich HeiÃe Bismarck.
Very shooty, but very little close-combat ability which means a fast assaulty opponent could get in quick and do a lot of damage. Still, if you concentrate all your fire on the fast stuff in an enemy army first then you should be OK.

Since you have the defiler for the indirect firing, why not use a vindicator? This way you have an assault deterrent in the form of a short ranged, very big gun and you might set yourself slightly apart from every other iron warrior list out there. One thing to remember about the indirect ordinance: 36" minimum range. Which means you might get a turn of firing before your opponent moves within this minimum and you have to expose both vehicles so they can shoot.
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!
Ok, list looks good, but I only have one concern, why does the csm squad have tank hunters? I know they have a lascannon and all, but look at all the heavy weaponry, trust me, if your concerned about destroying a tank with only one lascannon, then you got some problems. If you took off Tank Hunters and the MoCU, you could upgrade your Lt. to a Lord and add some chaos wargear/daemonic stuff. This is all just a suggestion, take it with a grain of salt.
Mad Props to Angel_of_Rust for the sig.
for a 1000pts, take 1 obliterator. most people tend to take lots of them because they can take many heavy weapons, but they cost 70 pts each, and one dark lance shot is enough to take them out.
your hq looks good, might want to give him a power weapon in case he gets into cc.
i think you should change one squad into a cc squad, and give it a rhino.
get a vindicator and drop the basilisk. might want to reconsider the defiler.
instead of the vindicator perhaps a predator to take the place of the Defiler, it's a good decent tank with more than enough options.
why is it everyone says that obliterators are a waste of points and that you should have only one? for 70 points you get the best equipment for a moving shooting model, and in close combat strength 10 power fist, thats really cool... and for tank hunter skill for one lascannon man is kind of useful in a way, as yes he may have alot of lascannons but sometimes you dont want to waste them all on one tank, so giving you that extra 1 to armour penetration roles is really handy, as lascannons dont always get through armour on tanks, so giving an extra boost to that is good, though i agree on extra points needed to boost the close combatness of your army, other than that nice list
I suggest you keep your oblits but take only 2, and 70 pts is enough to pump your Chaos lord to a serial killer.
If use want that bad to use tank hunter get a squad of havocs.
And if you want to be original, use 1 squad of raptors as a Counte CC unit with your lord an D flight.
This way people won't call you cheese nothin' but shootin' Iron Warrior ^_^
Just a thought.
