most comments welcome. (and i think i've got the adding up right) (Y)
You should Take your 2 scorpion squads and make them one squad there be more effective and take out the warlocks for more banhsees or scorps it's a matter of preference also conder wave serpents for a scorpion aquad or banshee once again a a matter of preference other than that it's a good list.- OSD
get 3 squads of striking scorps infiltrate
and instead of reapers get vypers with starcannons for anti infantry
more dragons 5 die like bam bam bam bam bam a stake of dead dragons
disonour before death
I have to say that i disagree with magma boy here keep the reapers as they are much better troop killers than vypers also 5 or 6 dragons is just fine just stick them in your falcon and you have one very tough and fast armour crushing monster of a unit. Personally I would forget about embolden and get conceal instead and give your farseer a singing spear for some ranged anti armour incase he finds himself being rhino rushed etc. Also keep your CC squads big so 10 scorps or 10 banshees as this will give you numerical superiority in most cases making them more efficient at squad annihilation. Also if you have banshees in a biel tann army a wave serpent is a must because even with fof they are still to slow and fragile to stand much chance of catching the enemy. With a WS they are a battle winner especially with infiltrated scorps nearby ready to charge in with them. Also give the WS a starcannon as your falcons pulse laser and your dragons should give you plenty of armour busting ability. Finally a more drastic change of tactic would involve ditching the dragons completely and instead give your farseer 5 warlocks all with witch blades or Singing spears 1 with enhance and the rest with destructor. Now put these 6 units in your falcon and your farseer can cast guide on it making that Pulse laser a very good tank buster and with your farseer and warlocks equiped with such powerful weapons they can kill tanks, termies, Hive tyrants and should they find a large squad of infantry then they can use 4x destructor which at str5 ap4 = alot of death. This is my favourite tactic for my farseer and it works like a charm good luck
He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day!
thanks everyone. the idea generally is to have the firedragons fly around in the falcon and drop out within 6" of a tank. (this happened once with a vindicator, except i only rolled 2 3+ (the exarch missed as well) and they all failed to damage it.
getting one big scorpion squad is a good idea, except i need something to stay back and guard my reapers, maybe the seer and warlocks could do that (and act as a firemagnet) i like the idea of conceal. it occured to me after posting that they'd always hit first when charged too.
show more respect for the fire dragons. consider placing them on a wave serpent and making them a squad of 8 or 10. the exarch is ok but in my perspective not nessessary. Ok list though (Y)
