    Well here is my updated 1000pt Thousand Sons strike team. Looking for comments or suggestions for the army (currently I would mainly use this army for Cleansing, Defending, or Guarding missions). My main concerns remain the same however, those being Monoliths (though I often ignore them and just go for the Necron Lord), and Armored Divisions (well who doesn't worry about this). Also I am looking for what people will believe to be BAD MATCHUPS for me and why (heck if you want to tell me what my good matchups are that would be appreciated also)

    Also a couple of notes, since this is a Thousand Sons army I cannot have heavy weapons (so sadly no havoc squads) and since I am doing a rather fluffy army I would prefer not to have Demons or a Demon Prince.

    well dont worry about monoliths cuz if they are fielding them in 1000 pts it will be real easy to make them phase out. the monolith would be 1/4 of their army. looks like a good list good luck!

    I believe flamers are one of the best Daemon squads around, a TS player should definatly take advantage of them.

    Looks pretty solid&#33; Necron Armies without Monoliths could give you a problem, as they are excellent against vehicles and have a good chance of pegging your Rhinos and Dreadnaught before they have a chance to really get into the action. Hey, this is my 100th post&#33;

    Yep the army list is just under 1000pts (998 or something to that extent).

    Moncs:
    Flamers are a strong Demon unit, however I would like to refrain from using Demon units (attempting to make a fluff army).

    I was suspecting that a Crisis Suite Tau force would be one of my hardest fights, what do you reccomend to stop them (I believe their tactic is to move forward 6 fire then fall back 6, or fall back fire then fall back again); the only idea I could come up with to stop them is to ditch the Rhinos and load up with "Bolts of Change" and shoot them at a greater distance.

    As for Undivided Chaos I would ask for you to enlighten me on some of their tactics, as I am unfamiliar with them (to tell you the truth I haven&#39;t faced off against another Chaos player besides Nurgle on occasion).

    A fast attacking Dark Eldar force hasn&#39;t seemed to pose a large problem as of yet, then again I haven&#39;t really played against a good Dark Eldar player. If you could also share some Dark Eldar tactics with me it would be greatly appreciated.

    I truely did want to add Power Fists/Lightning Claws to my Sorcerers however I decided to go with Wind of Chaos instead (you only can tweak out guys so much with 1000pts without being cheesy )

    Al Venom:
    The 6 Rubric Terminators which are making up the Chaos Lord&#39;s Retinue are all weilding power weapons.
