A warrior Light army list at 1500. Interesting. The Double 5 destroyer squads will be a big target. make sure to get them behind cover and what not and use all of that 36".

The immortals nice shooty shooty... but still moving that 6"... against a quick opponent, like eldar. you might have some strategic problems.

Phase out is kinda low for a 1500.

hey timbo just so you know, playing against ur friends doesn't matter, but in a tourney, they will take away ur prizes.(my friend entered in a 1000 pt 40k tourney he won second place and a 25 dollar gift certificate, then 3rd place tau noticed that 1st place tau had an army list in his pokket. he asekd to see it and noticed that it was 1 pt overboard, he told the officials and 1st place was disqualified. stoopid third place tau. but anyway my friend then got 1st place and a 50 dollar certificate)

Wouldn't they cheek out the people's lists before the tournament?

should max out one of the immortal squad and take out the other in exchange for more warriors. An IG army can phase u out very easily. Having that many destroyers aint really a good idea in a 1500pt and Tomb spyders should be increase to 2 as one wont get u enough scarabs and WBB support.

For 1500 points, Heavy Destroyrs are a must. Instant kill and no armor saves for most things = awesome.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.

I would drop one squad of destroyers and field a Monolith. Just flop your immortals behind the lith and advance it up field, once you get in range use the portal to throw them out front and blast away at your opponent.

I disagree, brother mine. Ten Destroyers= 30 shots at good strength and decent AP at 36" PER TURN. Plus there's the whole matter of having an effective four feet of range due to extra move. Destroyers in those numbers, especially with so many Immortals, will tear up troops in ridiculous numbers. Statistically, that's 20 hits per turn, average 16-17 wounds per turn, against Guardies that's 16-17 dead troops every single turn. That's not even counting the 28 Immortal shots at 24" per turn. I would hate to face this force under any circumstances- but make sure to spread your troops, because when people see your army, their going to pull out their Basilisks, Defilers and Leman Russ tanks.
