This list is for Word Bearers but, it has no deamons. It's soley for the purpose of equiping my lord with an Accursed Crozius, for the 4+ Inv. This is an attempt to be prepared for just about anything. I know I'm really missing Fast Attack but, I really don't own any. I could pick something up, I'm open to sugestions.

Hmm, this is actually the first time I see a WB army without Daemons... try to get at least one pick, even if they're really cheap, like 6 Daemonettes or something, just for fluff reasons .
I'd also try to make the Havoc squad more specialized, the lascannon is pretty much wasted. Swap it for a second autocannon for instance . You can put the lascannon in one of the troops units then.
I think I'd drop the dreadnought in favour of Daemons, as I said before, WB should have Daemons .

Bornin, I was hoping you'd chime in on this one. I don't have any deamons because, I just recently unloaded my Bloodletters. I'm waiting for the Khorngors to hit my local shelves. I think they fit the bill much better for the 40K version of a Bloodletter, Brass Armor of Khorne is not a hairy chest! But, I want to get a good close look at them before I make the investment. I'll look around to see what I've got to throw into the mix, just to give it little true to fluff feel.

You're right about the Lascannon, easy change to make. I was too busy trying to keep it as flexible as possible.

I have a really hard time dropping the Dread. Either it pays for itself several times over in pure destruction or it keeps the other guy's heavy weapons busy for at least 2 turns.

Always wiling to hear what you have to say.

*Feels important now .

I never heard of Khorngors, but I see your point on the brass armour.
I don't know how far this list will be expanded, but personally I think Daemonettes and Plaguebearers are quite good too: Daemonettes can take down literally anything, whilst Plaguebearers are great for tying up horde armies and slowly destroying them, and they're also good vs high T units.
Here's another suggestion for the dread: replace the Autocannons with an additional close combat weapon, and use extra armour instead of Daemonic Possession. Won't do much in the shooting phase, but it's better if you get in close combat, plus you save some points .

Yes, Furies are fast and can be quite powerful. Most the games I'm going to be playing are on a 60" square table. You and your opponent are almost on top each other by the end of the second turn anyways. So if you don't get them in turn two they're wasted.

I like all Chaos troops, but I never really saw the point of Daemons... don't bite my head off, but in all the games I played, they die like flies. Except for this one squad of Bloodletters- they held up in combat against a Dread they couldn't hurt for 5 rounds. They kept making their damn Inv. saves!
