Why the Space Marines are the best army of all:
1. We are very organized
2. We can win against many armies, even if we are outnumbered 10-1
3. We are the most played amry in 40k
4. We have a great selection of troops, fast attackers, and heavy artillery
5. We look good with our suits on, but we show a sight of no mercy
6. We banguished those of Chaos when they became traitors
7. We are the largest human race
8. We have the thunderhawk (that is one awsome spaceship!!&#33
9. We have low point cost
10. We have the most wins in the world!!!!!!!!

Thats because some of the younger commanders (ages 11- 14) have no idea what they are doing. Most of us that play space marines have moved on as well.
You know what they say, if you dont like the weather in houston...go back to where you came from

But... the most played armies are not as much fun. You should play armies that nobody else plays (or relatively few players play). That makes more variety and more fun for your opponents.

Space marines don't require a lot of brains to play them properly (same goes for Necrons) They can take a lot of punishment which means players can make mistakes and still win. I prefer something that requires a bit of smarts.

I dont understand the point of this topic at all? Are you bragging? You think you can win outnumbered 10-1? I'd like to see that one. You also said that you are the largest human race. What does this mean? The space marines make up a very tiny number in the masses of the Imperium, and they are barely even human at that. Plus saying that you are the largest human race implies there are more than one human race. What does organization have to do with how good your army is? Orks are very disorganized, but an experienced commander can make them unstoppable. You have a thunderhawk. Do you own such a model? Have you used one in a game? Would it even be practical in small games? You're the most played because every kid who walks into the store picks them first. They're the most marketed with the most stuff because GW knows this. A lot of people wander away from SMs pretty soon after they start, but those who stay in can become dangerous commanders. I am not sure what you mean by the "banguish"ment of chaos. If you meant banish, then that is not true, because if they were banished they wouldnt have come back and raped the cadian sector in the eye of terror campaign now would it. Once again, why did this topic get started? There are ever so many counter-arguments.

Now I think your just braggin!

I am only 9 years old. I collect tyranids and i have only played two times in my life. Both those matches were against space marine players who looked abou 15 years old. And i beat them thankyou very much.

 Hello there, just joined this second after reading this most heated debate (kind of). Personly i'm a SM man myself, though i have collected Eldar and ork aswell. Even i think the space marine lover at the top should shut up, get a spellchecker and generally make a half arsed attempt at correct typing. (saying that mine's probably crap)

SM armies are generally very good as they are tough, hard hitting and do look cool so big up to the 9 year old kid who beat em with his Tyranids (insectoid vermin but still harder than vindalood mutton). But they get boring (space marines i mean) and sometimes you can win with no tactics what so ever.

'Stand very still and keep firing your guns, children of the Emperor!!'
famous qoute from some chapter master?

Now i'm rambling complete crap, so i'll shut myself up before someone else tries too.

P.S Dreadnaughts KICK ASS. (me blow you up long time)
