    We all know:

    1. IG are bad in CC.
    2. Heavy Flamers are good.
    3. Demo Charges are good.
    4. Leman Russ Tanks are good.

    Here's an army that will do well against both 3+ armies and horde armies. On average 2-3 demo charges will hit, wiping out a squad. If they are pinned but not killed the Chim can always flame them anyway.

    Most of the units are capable of making back their pts in 1 or 2 turns given the opportunity. It's mobile and it's not an IG army you would want to get close to . The remnants of the opponent's list will then have to choose between shooting & assaulting the 5-man squad or shooting the Chim.

    Ratlings are high T creatures, Ogrns as wipe-up troops and H.Vets are simply a good deal. Eldar/DE negate AV14 with lances but the H.Flamers should be very effective against them.

    Umm, sithjack is right, you can only have 1 demo charge per subunit. However, contrary to his opinion, you do not need a Command Platoon if you have Schaeffer in your army.

    Since you'll have points left over, I would suggest replacing one of your Leman Russes with a Demolisher with Plasma Sponsons. It will give you some effectiveness against Terminators and other 2+ armour save critters, something this army is lacking right now.

    Overall, not bad, but you've gotta make those Schaffers' subunits legal!

    Parhiaus got it right, fix thems Last Chancers up.

    Might as well give the Hardened Vets a Chimera, everybody else has one already.

    Switch those Demo Charges up, as said before. Throw in Melstaguns or Power Weapons/Bolt Pistols for each Last Chancer. You can still break armor that way, and it might be cheaper, and it will be legal.

    I don't know where it says so, but I am sure that an army led by Schaeffer doesn't need a Command Platoon, even though it says you do. I think it's in the FAQ on the GW site.

    do you even have troops you most have two troop choise sow that is not legal

    The Last Chancers count as Troops choices if you have enough of them.
    IG since '95.
