Please review my 2000 pt list for a RT tournament coming up. I have the unfortunate luck of playing lots of Blood Angel players, so please not the emphasis on kill power. Any comments, or suggests are welcome!
NOTES:
Everything has mark of Undivided.
-will be facing at least 2 Blood Angel players, at least 3 or 4 marine players. Maybe an imperial guard, and yes an Ork and Tyranid players.
-tactics i use are a slow advance, with the lord and his retinue in the rhino. Obliterators all stay together, and the Vindicator is basically bait. Dreadnaughts advance. Defiler is again bait/ another Oridiance.

You're gonna get kicked on comp. Little models in the troops section, 4 heavies, 3 elites... you might want to get more troops instead.

that seem like quite a hard hitting list, but i would drop the dreadi with missiles and las cannon because

: put on the model together they look bad
: in my oppinion its a wate of points
: your army comp is going to go way down

put in another squad of me with a heavey bolter and flammer, then u have got a nice ork and nid killer squad

6 oblits...*drool*...
ahem, take out the vindicator and add more chaos marines, replace the lascannons in the marine squads with Heavy Bolters and maybe some flamers. You have 8 lascannons as it is, with the raptors fast moving melta support, you would be lacking in anti-infantry, especially aganist tyranids. The vindicator might sound nice and dandy, but limited range means you will have to move it up, means its a target, means it'll die.

Comp score refers to your armies composition.
At least 40% in troups, less than 25% in elites/fast attack/heavy, less than 20 in HQ, less than 10% spent on wargear. I think thats what it is roughly, might be off by a few percentages, been a while. Anywho, your list looks ok, asides for the severely lacking number of models.

This is my 1850 RTT Iron warriors list, didn't lose a scenario in my last one, or the one before.

after a little input, i think i'm dumping the vindicator in favor of the marines. i did the additions up top. i can increase the marine squads to 8 for the price of the vindicators without major modifications to the rest of the list. I am also considering the following:
Dreadnaught w/ Lascannon and Missile Launcher to
Dreadnaught w/ 2 CC arms.
-my thought is it would give me a nice mobile threat as well as a good piece to tie up squads with. maybe keep him moving with the squad with krak grenades??

Chaoswhore (nice name): next time don't post wargear costs in the list. Please read the forum rules and announcements before posting.

what is the advantage of obliterators in squads of 2? i've been using squads of 3 to soak up a few hits. usually i lose at least 1 or 2 in the game. also can anyone give advice on the lord? i'm debating dropping him for Cypher as i have the model done? any input anyone?

I don't know anything about cypher, but I can suggest getting deamonic resilience instead of deamonic aura. It could help subtract the number of saving throws you have to roll in close combat aganist blood angels and their black rage.
