I have been on this quest to get advice for a new 40k army. I am a newbie just so you know. Anyway, I want to know your opinions on which army I could choose that I could use the least amount of models for to get 2000 points and still be effective? I would REALLY appreciate some advice on this matter. Thanks in advance.
Well, Godzilla' Nid list's tend to be pretty low on the model count. So do pure Grey Knight armies.
Smallest amount of models, or least cost?
A Deathwing force is all Dreads, Termies and Landraiders. Not many models, but I hope your bank account is better than mine!
Monster bugs is a good suggestion too.
Beware the Agapanthers!
Codex Astartes: More a guideline than a rule...
Necrons, Grey Knights, or Big Nids.
Deathwing. Particularly with plastic termies it is now cheaper
Some eldar (Iyanden and possibly Saim Hann) but both are expensive money wise
