Altogether it is 997 points
I was going to play another wraithlord instead of the vypers but that would be cheesy. My fire prrism will move in and out of enemy line of sight shooting while the wraithlord and vypers soak up fire power.
i would say to drop the vypers and the fire prism, and get another wraithlord and a falcon, at bs 3, tis just not worth it to have only one powerful wepon on a fire prism, might as well have multiple wepons so if you miss some theirs still others
Quote of the week: "dude, for a whole hour, i would fall asleep!"
Ok, OA, see, there is a thing called powergaming. Taking two Wraithlords in a 1k point game is an example of this. His Seer Council is evidently going to be guiding the Fire Prism. There is no problem there. Frankie, you are seriously lacking in anti-tank power. If someone lays a pieplate on your bright lance squad, you have nothing that is going to puncture a Leman Russ. I think you should swap out a starcannon (either from the Vyper or Wraithlord) for another BL. Downsize the Scorpion Squad, and drop the Vypers, for some War Walkers, especially if you know there's abundant cover. That's all the advice I have for now.
i think a prism canon has a 9 strength am i wrong? if this is true then theres a tank hunter for ya....
Hmm...NO *****, SHERLOCK! No, seriously, if you want to tank hunt, use Fire Dragons. They have better BS. The Prism is best for taking down huge threats, such a Tau Hammerhead, or if you're lucky, a Monolith.
Fire dragons aren't mobile enough. The fire prism can be guided and because it uses the blast template it good at killing heavy infantry like terminators. It is also fast.
drop the fire prism 4 2 d-cannons and nuthin will go wrong
I prefer D-Cannons. drop the prism (180pts) For 2 D-cannons (100pts) guide them and they won't know what hit'em. Just my thoughts.
Do what you wan't with the 80pts left. Maybe add more Warlocks/Seer to your seer council?
Da Future Is Bright, Da futures Green
Ogre Kingdoms 0-0-0
40k Chaos 5-0-1
fire prism has 60" range while a D-cannon has 24" the prism may not be as strong but a tank is much harder to kill than two guardians and as I mentioned earlier the prism is quicker. It is worth nthe extra points.
Think again man...
