    Here's me 1500 pt Tau army:

    XV8 Commander Shas'o w/ burst cannon, missile pod, Shield Generator, hard-wired multitracker, hard-wired drone controller w/ 2 gundrones. 144

    XV8 Team 2 battlesuits each armed w/ burst cannon, plasma rifle and multitracker. Shas'vre has hard-wired drone controller w/ 2 gun drones. Bonded. 162

    Stealthsuit Team Team of 4. Shas'vre has hard-wired drone controller w/ 2 gun drones. Bonded 162

    2 Fire Warrior Teams Each consisting of 12 Fire Warriors and 2 Gundrones. 294

    Pathfinder Team Team of 6 Pathfinders. 152

    2 Hammerhead Gunships Each armed w/ railgun, SMS, 4 seeker missiles, multitracker. 420

    XV88 Broadside Team Team of 2 XV88s. Shas'vre has HW drone controller w/ 2 gundrones. Bonded. 182

    Alright first off, this applies for your other list as well.

    There is only about 2 points leway for being over 1500 points, in both you are way over, which makes this army illegal in matches.

    Also try and make you army list as easy to read a possible. Look at WD follow their layout or something, the way you did it is just confusing, no offence.

    Okay looking at your army list I have a couple pointers.
    HQ
    Shaso tag him with a target lock or change his weapon to match the rest of the team. This way if that light vehicle is headed your way or there is a unit of mariines heading for you you can utilize his missile pod while your bodyguard can take on the marines. It happens believe me. One of the Taus best abilities is their ability of choice. They can do so much, make sure you dont waste points.
    Im not much for burst cannons on my crisis suits but the more power to you. I usually think of them as my big guys like heavy weapons troopers and I usually only give them missile pods, plasma rifles, and fusion guns. But it sucks up alot of points.

    The two elites look fine.

    I personally think for 1500 points you need 3 firewarrior squads. But again thats just me. They have great range make an excellent firebase and given a devilfish can almost do the same job as a pathfinder except you dont get the special rules.

    I like pathfinders this is a good unit and you will have 8 seeker missles to fire. Thats very cool. Raining death on marines. But its so expsensive for only six guys. With that points you could put in another firewarrior squad or beef up your stealth suits. I dont know its a hard choice to make.

    I like your heavies, if you got two broadsides Id make one of the hammerheads with an ion cannon for some troop killing flexibility.

    Overall the other guy is right unless you opponenet allows the points difference.
    Also you have less than 40 guys for a 1500 pt battle which worries me and 3 tanks. The best thing I can say for tactcis for this army is keep it together and focus your fire to eliminate entire units. You lack the numbers to be able to spread out. Really focus your attention to whatever is closest.

    Lastly good luck, I think you have picked out a fine army and everything I added is personnal preference and is not law by any means. I hope you have a good time and let us know how you do.

    i like the idea of lots of suits, but i think you shoud drop the pathfinders and add more firewarriors, add at least 12 more, and add some broadsides mabye

    Shas'elMudd is correct. I agree except for the pathfinder part. I am not a huge fan of pathfinders/devilfish/markerlights. If you like them though then go for it. I would personally drop them and add a squad of gun drones and more FWs.

    I'd really give your broadsides shield drones. The gun drones will probably never reach anything, and you'll be targetted by heavy wepaons and the invulnerable saves can really help.

    More FWs is a good idea. I really think a minimum of 32 is best. I do 3 squads of 9 bonded and one of 6 unbonded.

    Truly, burst cannon on crisis suits is not the best idea. Give then some pucnh with stronger weapons and if you really like burst cannons take more stealth.

    Probably dropping the drones on your shas'o or adding target lock is a good idea. I personally would drop the drones as you have a shield generator.

    If you are going to take the devilfish then it might be good to put a few of the seeker missiles on it. Maybe 3 on each HH and 2 on the devilfish. Spread them out so a bunch don't become useless if your vehicle is destroyed.

    ok stupid question, how the hell can u have drone controller and multi tracker?
    i thought u could only have one support system and 2 weapon systems.
    If anyone can clear that up ill go away

    Not stupid at all. Regular shas'ui rank crisis are as you suppose, they cannot have more than you say.

    A shas'vre could have 2 weapons, a multi tracker, and a hard-wried drones controller. A shas'vre (team-leader also) bonus is the ability to hard-wire from the wargear section.

    The shas'el or shas'o can have three suit mounted systems and 3 hard-wired systems.

    I hope that answers your question. Did I mistakenly add to much to a regular crisis suit?
