Warboss, Iron Gob, Bosspole, MegaArmour, Waagh Banner, Attack squig
2x9 Lootas w/4 Lascannons
4x8 Lootas w/4 Lascannons
1 Basilisk, Indirect Fire
1 Griffon, Indirect Fire
Considering the Deathskulls 2e fluff it's actually quite fitting too! Would be interesting playing this vs IG .
There might be diferent rules for this somewhere, but, lootas are heavy, and looted vehikles are 0-1 but if you can go ahead. I would make two squad of lootas have autocanons(or some equvalent like hevy bolters), for troop stompin. also give your warboss a choppa and slugga, and get rid of the baner(useless, as he dosnt have a bodygard.

It's in the new Klans rules. The ork equivalent of the eldar craftworld codex.
I think it's not really effective. you have 24 lasconnon shots a turn potential. That's good against vehicles, but against troops, you can do zero. Your whirlwind and your Bassie are the only things that can hurt infantry, and the basalisk dies easily. I would loose some lascannons and take some big shoota's instead, for the tyranid and other Ork players, or imperial guard. But I think against space marines, your in big trouble.
The Devastator squad options are too pricey for lascannon. With the Anti-tank squad options, you can get three lascannon for 75 pts, as opposed to the 140 you're paying for a fourth by buying them through the Marines. Speaking of whom, if you're going up against 'em, you need more boyz. WAYYYYYY more boyz. I've been fielding a Demolisher, a Leman Russ, and a Basilisk, and I find that even chucking around all that ordnance still isn't enough to stop that damn "Iron March" (what one of my opponents calls it when he slaps down 80-something Salamanders in a big brick).
I've been struggling to find an effective way to take 'em down with the new klan rules, and have been having problems. 4 plasma cannons, led by a mek with a kustom mega-blasta and a Big Mek with one too, dishes out ungodly amounts of firepower, but only till they get to shoot back. Any suggestions on how to take down power-armored bolter-wielders?
