    Hardest HQ?

What is the most powerful HQ u have ever fielded or seen? This is a bit of a dubious question as all HQ's are different. But i mean the one that has made the biggest impression on the opponent, and literally crippled him! What equipment did this HQ have?

    Thank you!

i've always thought that a space marine command squad with 2 characters and tooled up for the assualt is a strong hq choice. i have seen squads like that do major dammage to an opponents forces.

Fully upgraded Broodlord and genestealers have seen em kill a deamon prince (265+ points and khorne) and a Bloodthrister (sp) with only 3 dead stealer then killed all his Besserkers and bloodletter with the rest off the squad and no dead.

    That or a DP...

If I calculate with 1 Warboss and 9 noobz without invul save at maybe 21 wounds and T4(dunno dun play orcs) and a 3+ save (orc is the army i nkow the least about) and i thingk genes strike first and the genes charge about a16 wounds dead b4 u even attack back... so ur pretty much dead

No, not really. 30 Strength 5 Big shoota shots, followed up by the land raider (Crusader)'s attacks. Dead genestealers.

Ulthwe seer councils... i hate them. i have seen countless space marine command squads with 2 characters fall to these. it just seems to be the wounding on a 2+ with the spears and witch baleds. then there is destructors from the warlocks. just rips through them. its one of those things, if you can hit them enough, they have to start making saves, and failing those saves.

I gotta hold up my corner. I say Chaos.
Anything which can use a Warscythe at the effective initiative of a Brood Lord is bad news.
Plus, if you include retinues, then Chaos is definitely top - aspiring champion retinues are limited only by the points in the game.

If not Chaos then Dark Eldar...

You forgot to mention that the warscythe is also instant killing marine HQs (and hopefully moving like calvary, but that might be too much to ask). Nope, just under the limit IIRC.
Everything I have told you, even this, is a lie.
