A ponderous problem to puzzle plentifully over.

I wonder what the most expensive possible list for each army is? With mutable armies (SM Traits, IG Doctrines, etc.) the most expensive armies from the most expensive variant AND Vanilla...

    Let's play sums!

Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!

What would be the limitations of such an idea Mance? I mean regardless of list they are all equal because the largest list would be an infanite one...

    Chaos.
Over 100 points per model in a squad of up to 30.
    That'll be 1 elite choice then .

    Bring it on heh heh.

    OK:

You need a rule saying no forgeworld. Also remember Grey Knight allies make things a lot more expensive.

Most expensive army possible for each race on 1 FoC.

Guard have a point limit, once you have your command squad and burned through all the special characters they just can't go higher. I plan to work out the maximum possible points a guard army can ever reach some time.

Ulthwe can get infinite points on a single FoC.

Chaos can get to SEVEN THOUSAND POINTS on a single Elites choice. With 20 man trooops choices each costing 24 points they win the most expensive game.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.

Besides, Uthwe, I'd say Chaos with their uber upgraded chaos lord, and chosen unit of doom along with their rest of their army upgraded to the max.

My vote goes to Ulthwe Eldar. They can take unlimited Warlocks in a Seer council. That's basically it. Unlimited Warlocks=Unlimited points ceiling

and Chaos Sorcerers can spend unlimited points on Minor Powers. So what count more? Unlimited points because of one unit, or unlimited points because of multiple sorcerors each choosing unlimited powers?

Lol. I can imagine it now.
One Chaos Sorceror taking on all the Warlocks in the world

Until one of the pointy heads pulls out some kind of Assault 8 ap1 S10 weapon.
