hey...so Im curious if you have played wuth the army yet..how is it doing ? Are the Demonhosts actually effective ???

I mean, for their point cost, you can get like 3 gK, OR 2 Termies, and I think I would rather have those. But hey, if they are worth their points, id like to give them a try.

i already got it, i dont want to play relicatiors so i can get a single daemon weapon. I would rather have all the elites i want from the daemonhunter codex while still getting all the perks (except the daemon weapon) from space marines.

++EDIT+++ oppps my bad son of russ. I saw the weapons you are talking about for the inquistor lord, i like them but i kind of dont want to include them for the mere fact that i am designing this list to go to a rougetrader, the weapons are only good against daemons and the such (although the books of pain do present a really good tactical advantage!

this is in reply to OrionLethe,

im not tryin to be an ass or anything but he's playin a radical army, so that means that even though he might like to get GK's in place of the deamonhosts unfortunately he cant. Plus it isnt a radical army if you dont have deamonhosts in it

ok, i am aware of that. But my question, if I may reword it, is it really worth wile to play the Deamonhosts....do they actually pay for their point costs...seems to me they would live long enough to be worth wile...

Its more of a chaotic factor than anything, they rock in close combat and all, and will more than likely make up their points cost. So yes they are worth it.

When i say relictors isnt a good idea i mean you are meant to do it the other way round. Start with relictors then add some daemonhunter's not start with the Daemonhunter list to get the full advantages from it then take some allied SM and say they are relictors.

Relictors and certain other chapters (Space wolves and possibly Dark angels and their sucessors) will not submit to the authority of the Inquisition however Relictors would allow an inquisitor with a few of his followers to travel with them.

An Inquisitor who goes too far when using Chaos against itself loses some of his authority because he loses respect. By many he is seen as just as bad as ones who use Chaos for evil purposes.

What i am saying is you are using a good idea in the wrong way.

If you read the DH book you can see how much radicals are hated.

I want my list to be useful and colorful. I couldnt achieve that with the relicators. Once again, have you not read the chapter approved that contains the relicators? It does not state that anywhere in the listings. I have actual fluff with my list to back this up.

An Inquisitor who goes too far when using Chaos against itself loses some of his authority because he loses respect.
That is because they automatically begin to form a cell of inquistors to hunt him down. Most radical inquistors keep their studies under wraps. As to not alert their puritan kin. It is only when they find out that they are hated and hunted (read cotez's story, it talks about an inqusitor who has made it all the way up to the inner conclave but is exposed for who he his and is put to death)

If you read the DH book you can see how much radicals are hated.
I read the entire DH book over and over again, i dont need you to tell me whats in it. They are hated quite a bit by people that do not understand their ends. Those that do undestand what they do are very loyal to him this includes any space marines who hear of him. I am considering making the space marines fallen angels.
