I've been playing WH40k so long that....

    I still own a Zoat

I still have a bag with Overwatch and Hidden counters in

My first 1500pt army cost less than £100

Grey Knight Terminators were 2 for £3

Terminators saved on 3+ on 2D6.

    2nd ed.

    Those were the days

    Your turn

I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.

I started to get into 2 Ed. Tyrannids were new and exciting, and Necrons were a Red Dwarf article.

Pity I never actually played a game.

Even worse, some dirty bugger stole my classic Necron models, including a classic Lord with staff of light.
Dark Eldar: Showing the Chaos gods how to do evil properly since 1998.

    Borrowed DH Combat Patrol 1W/0D/0L
    Dark Eldar 1W/0D/3L (partially assembled)
Necron 1W/0D/0L (I got my 'Crons back!)

Moo is my new personal hero. Click Undefeated Dark Eldar and DE? Good you say? to learn why.

    Ork Transports

Ork trukks could hold as many models as you could fit... so we made one with a basket on it!

Unfortunately, if a model fell off, it took a hit with strength equal to how many inches it moved.

I will never forget when the basket tipped over and every ork fell out!

I also remember when Swooping Hawks would ruin the entire game with vortex grenades. Being able to put a template down whose rules were "anything touched dies" anywhere on the board was a little harsh. Not to mention they multiplied and never left the board.
    CODEX: Eldar
    Now with maximum pwnage!

Record with Eldar this summer = 11W-1D-1L yay!

The new IG metal kits were hot shit.

Everyone had Praetorians at the top of their list.

Gretchin had guns larger than they were.

The Leman Russ Tank was brand new (none of the variants were out yet), so was the Eldar jetbike (or was that even out yet? I can't be sure).

...Actually, come to think of it, unless that thing had been out for ages and the old catalog was just tragically out of date you could probably guess what year I started... Over a decade ago.

    I feel old now.

    Played so long

I have been around WH 40K so long, I remember when a melta gun had a blast radius.
When in doubt call in an ordnance strike.
