I don't think its ever been tested, mainly because no Ork has ever died outside of battle or bad "serj'ry". They're engineered to be a survivor race, so I expect they could live a pretty long time with enough food and supplies but it's in their nature to seek out other things and confront them. I'm pretty sure Ghazgkull has lived for well over 100 years.

thats actually a really good question, I just expected Orks to be immortal until battle killed them. You can't even tell an Ork's age compared to his brudda's you can just tell vicious he is according to everybody else

how long have Ghazgul and the Commisar been going at it now?

Commissar Yarrick was around during the Second War for Armaggeddon, looking forward to enjoying a nice quiet retirement until Ghazgkull showed up. Then he fought in the Third War as well, so at least 57 years.

Generally, the oldest orks are the biggest and da meanest. But i recall a story about a really old ork (in the codex) telling a story to younger orks. So maybe not always.

sounds cool, Age is not so much a factor as making sure that he grew only through conflict, Orc Shamans and such are the Pacifist Orcs and are normally smaller than a normal Ork, each battle an Ork faces makes him bigger and stronger, or dead of course
