    Tau sept Vior'la

    The Tau sept Vior'la are on the cover of the "cities of death" supplement, and there is a little story about them and the Vostroyan Firstborn.

    But does anyone know any other info about them?

    I don't think there's that much.. Then again, most of the Tau septs are glossed over a bit fluffwise.

    * They have red sept markings, and the sept colour is red.
    * The name translates as 'hot blooded' (I think)
    * It's famous for the skill of its fire warriors, and has many military academies
    * Commander farsight came from there, and was a considered hero to the sept until his disappearance. Some fire warriors still support him.
    * They use 'monats' more extensively than some other septs, and favour teams of identically equipped battlesuits rather than mixed teams.
    * The third phase expansion was launched from there (I think, it's definately where shadowsun gave her inaugeral speech)
    * I think it's hot and desertey, but I can't remember.

    That's everything I can remember and/or pick up from the interwub.

    I'll link over what the Lexicanum has:

    Information

    Vior'la is a Tau world which orbits a binary star and is known for its extreme temperatures and difficult living conditions. The word Vior'la literally translates as 'hot blooded'.
    It is a notorious Fire Caste world containing the oldest and most respected academy, founded centuries before. The warriors produced here are especially aggressive and skilled in the art of death. The sept warriors of Vior'la are usually painted with hot colours, like red and orange, and usually have many Fire Warriors and Battlesuits.
    Vior'la is one of the major septs and is a first phase colony. Its neighbours are Sa'cea, Arthas Moloch and Tau'n.
    It is currently designated a Xenos World by the Imperium.

    Oh yeah, and Commander Farsight is from there, as his name is Shas'O Vior'la Shovah Kais Mont'yr which means he's from that planet.
