So I've decided on my fluff for my renegades and was just wondering if it was breaking any rules and I want opinions on things.
The renegades are not renegades per say, but lost in a sense (I don't know how to explain things well). Anyways the marines are called the reapers of the lost.
Basically they were once part of the Thousand Sons legion after they had turned traitor. This is After the Hersey, but before Ahriman's rubric spell. So this makes them chaos space marines, but not all Thousand Sons. They were a distinct section of the legion which, at the last moment realized what would happen when Ahriman's rubric spell would be cast. Therefore they tried to escape right before it was cast. When the group left it was still led by some of the legions best sorcerors for protection, but many of them were still caught by the spell and were changed. At this point they now changed their names. The Reapers of the Lost now seek out Ahriman to bring him to his death while trying to find the secrets to revive part of their new renegade chapter. One of their sorcerors also was granted Daemonhood for his ambition and leads this fairly small group, which is steadily gaining power throughout the warp.
Opinions and Comments are welcome. Thanks.
Nice idea, I don't think this breaks any rules. Surely it's in a gray area, as there may be some ex-Thousand Sons loyalists running around as Blood Ravens if rumors might be believed, and they didn't go all dusty.
Honour through revenge... i like it. not too extreme or cheezy like most i've heard but, they still have their place.
i like the sound of it, keep it up!
Seems like some pretty solid fluff. But how bout some names ya? A cool story? How did he become a demon prince? This is a great foundation for you to keep building on! Cant wait to see more
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
That's pretty cool - it's like half the ship was caught in the storm of the Rubric and the other half had broken free, and the Techmarines were fighting a desperate battle to keep the ship in the air as it tried to escape to realspace. But then...he was turned to dust, which was a problem. Yeah, there's loads of fun potential in a story for this, I recommend that you get to writing
thanks for all the great replies, I'm trying to write a small little fluff/story, but I am not that good. Just really need to type it up and add in some more detail. After that I'll probably do a history type of thing on them, who knows!.
