Ok, well the fluff for this armies is that a small inquisitorial force has gone to purge a small heretic guard platoon. Inquisitor Lord Crotailid lead he retinue and allied storm troopers blazing down the dusty road in their Rhinos. Soon they entered a large temple yard. The temple was one huge column jutting into the air. About 200ft up the tower stopped above it was a statue of the chaos blood god Khorn slaying a imperial lord. As the Inquisition walked into the temple there was the sound of blood dripping and a faint smell of flesh...
...a guards man jumped up from behind a chaos statue, he ran over to the inquitor and said under his breath, I’m glad you are here, they are torturing us, most of us have turned. With that his head flung back and his eyes glow red, he grabbed his chainsword and sent a thrust at a acolyte, the inquisitor utterd a prayer in his ear and the guardsman turned his sword upon himself, blood coated the inquisitor.
Another guardsman walked out and shouted proudly, " the inquisition" he spat on the floor " useless, we tricked you and now you will die. With this, a squad of chaos marine’s teleported in and a blood thirstier was summoned.
20 guardsmen, 8 chaos marine and a blood thirstier all charged across the hall waiting to dish out some death. Inquisitor Lord Crotalid just stood there and shouted in a deep and meaning full voice. "No it is you that will pay the price of defiance in the emperors name. With that 3 squads a shining human gods teleported down and started to make short work of the guardsmen, the inquisitorial stormtroopers joined the fray, they now wanted to kill the men that had deserted the emperor in the time he needed them most. The inquisitor and his retinue started to disembowel(sp?) the chaos marines, the inquisitors mighty blows from his daemon hammer smashing skulls in one. The bloodthirster wondered were to attack seeing his followers being massacred, he was just about to destroy the inquisitor when the grand master teleported down and decapitated it whilst his mighty terminators removed the foul daemons legs...
... as the dust settled the grandmaster stood up from the carcass of the huge daemon and raised his sword to the air, the inquisition let out a might, "for the emperor."
Ok, heres a little re-do of the fluff based around my core that my friend did, which one is the best? Which shall i stick to?
Inquisitor Lord Crotailid lead he retinue and a group of Storm troopers for fire support, down the main road having recently disembarked from their Rhino's. Soon they entered a large courtyard, in the grounds of a heretical temple. The temple was one Gigantic spire, scraping the sky itself. Partway up the tower, a huge beast could be seen, its shape made out to be a greater deamon of Khorne, the Chaotic god of war. The stench of blood and flesh hung in the air.
A man staggered out from behind a statue, his fatigues torn to ribbons, and all he had was a knife in his hand, and a fresh wound in his left arm. "Self harm is not permitted under any circumstances." And shot the man through the head with a bark of the ornate bolt pistol in his hand. The man flung back, but hung in the air as if hung on invisible strings. Head reared and the red glow within the pits of his eyes, frothing from the mouth he raced toward the inquisitor, who had already fired again, and so did the Storm Troopers. Its chest ripped open by the volley of incoming fire, it shrieked madly as its body was not only engulfed in weapons fire, but also a deep ethereal flame...
"And now you die Inquisitor. Crotailid, death by the hand of Chaos" laughed the soul of the dead man, the sound was from all around.
The sky grew instantly dark, and a swirling warp portal opened at the base of the spire. Through it walked 4 heavily armoured figures, 1 even heavily armoured figure, and one behemoth of a creature; A greater daemon of Khorne itself; a Bloodthirster. The four figures were to be discovered heretic space marines. large figure seen to be a dark mage, incased in ancient tactical dreadnought armour, it was also to be discovered that there was a pack of bloodletters around the legs of the Bloodthirster.
the marines opened fire, and the Storm troopers fell in droves, their armour thinner than the others. the Inquisitor tapped someting into his wrist communicator, and 5 huge beings appeard behind the chaos group, a Grey Knight Grand Master, and his entourage, also encased in Tactical Dreadnought armour.
"Liberto sum!" screamed the Inquisitor, and lifted his hammer up high above his head, and brough it down upon the ground, blue lighning flung from the mysterious glowing weaponand the energy annihilated the bloodletters, but the Bloodthirster remained, and was not running for the inquisitor. The fire from the greyknights weapons peppered the heretic marines, while the grandmaster stepped foreward to confront the enemy hero, and sung down his force halberd, draining the lifeforce out of his foe, and leaving the armour empty of life. he preceded to kick it to the ground.
The Bloodthirster galloped into the retinue of the inquisitor, incapacitating most of his body guard, the inquisitor sidestepped, and slammed his hammer into the side of the beast. It writhed in pain, by now the inquisitor was behind the monstrosity, and struck it again between the should blades. The thing fell to one knee, and the Inquisitor sent one last hit home and smashed the hammer through the skull of the Deamon. Its form waned out of existance, and the air reaked of ozone.
"mortus est" proclaimed the Inquisitor, he wiped his brow and turn to the grandmaster, they both nodded solomly toward each other.
I thought it was cool and intrsesting i kinda like the 2nd 1 cause it was more descriptive!
Pretty good if i Say!
[QUOTE] "For eleven hundred years I have fought and I have seen the darkness in our galaxy. I have seen the vileness of the alien. I have seen the heresy of the mutant. I have witnessed the sin of Possession. I have seen all the evil that the galaxy harbours and I have slain all whose presence defiles the Emperor. I have seen what you have seen i Have fought what you must fight and i have slain what you must slay.
You are armored by the Emperor himself.
Righteousness is your sheild. So fear not and be proud, for we are the sons of Sanguinius, the Protectors of ManKind
Aye, we are indeed the Angels of Death"
-Commander Dante adressing the Blood Angels Chapter at the start of the Alchonis Campaing
not bad. not very original (its hard to make DH fluff original IMO) because it always involves massive demons
