So..about bionics, like arms and stuff, how exactly do you get them?
I mean, are they available to anyone, or just Space Marines?
Also, would you have feeling in one after you got it?
What's the procedure to getting them?
Do they give any bonuses like a harder punch or anything?
Say an Inquisitor wanted one because his arm was gone. Would he be given it?
If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on a mime, does anyone care?
I beleave that IG recive them....
I adopted a cute lil' pikachu fetus

I am pretty sure that Bionics are given to Space Marines and Daemonhunters mainly, but they are available to Imperial Guard. Not too sure about Witch Hunters though. *Ponders*
No idea how u get em. I think u get em if your realatively important and people want to make sure u stay alive aslong as possible.
They are available the Space Marines, Demonhunters and Imperial Guards. Perhaps Orks? i dont know for sure though.
I guess a bionic would let u use your bionic *insert member* like you would a normal *insert member*. But i dont think you would feel the pain if you would be shot in your bionic...
Emperor knows the procedure....
In the Imperial Guard Codex, it doesnt say you get a harder punch or something. Im guessing to work, it uses your old muscles, so you would still hit as hard as before.
And Inquisitor can get what he wants. He can order the destruction of an enitre planet if he *thinks* its demon infested. Im sure he can get on the waiting list for a bionic
I would suppose that bionics are given to powerful leaders, great fighters and inspirational men. For a normal IG trooper to get one, i would suppose he would have to do something particularly special. If in doing so if he lost an arm he would get a new shiney arm as a medal/memento.
Orks getting bionics are another thing entirely. Most orks would only get bionics if they were unfortunate enough to let a Mad Dok get at them if they were asleep or unconcious. Mad Doks love to experiment and are known to remove limbs or other body parts even if there was nothing wrong with them in the first place.

even normal guardsmen can get them. You can give them to your entire regiment with the doctrines system. I heard that in one of the books, there was a character with bionics.
The limb functioned normally, but it was numb, and I think it even caused them a little pain. The bionics they use in the empire can do miraculous things (just look at the artwork in the 40k rule book), but it is also very clumsy.
I believe Iron Hand Straken has bionics...and they give him one hell of a punch.

Tau: 4/4/3 - 50%
DaemonHunters: 1/2/0 - 33.3%
Dark Angels: 3/1/0 - 75%
The bionics dont rally increase your strength, but I think there theory is that if you are shot your bionics might take most of the damage or bring you back to life, and of couse they give you happy new limbs. I think there is an orcy wargear that is like bionics but it increases something.
Back from a long adventure.
In the gaunts ghost books there is a charcter with a bionic shoulder and when his bionic shoulder got damaged it caused his arm which they saved to die and have to be replaced with a full bionic arm and shoulder. Not sure why they didn't just do that in the first place.
