I have a quick question for all of you Fluff gurus out there..
Could a Chaos force made up of Plague Marines and Khornate Beserkers exist together in the same army with Slaanesh and Tzeentch being involved..
The reason I ask is because I am a big fan of both Nurgle and Khorne but I have no real desire to start a black legion force because I do not like slaanesh or tzeentch
Thank you for helping clear that up for me
It's entirely plausible in a Black Legion force, as the ties in their warbands tend to be based around personal loyalties rather than devotions to particular gods. As far as the other legions go, I'm not sure there's one that's that cosmopolitan, but it may happen.
On rare occasions a Word Bearer might be drawn into a pact with a single god, or worship one above all others. In that case, though, he'd not be typical of his Legion, and would be hunted down and killed for his heresy. Night Lords are either in the camp of Zso Sahaal (don't trust or use Chaos) or Acerbus (fell to Chaos), but from what I see they worship them Undivided if in any way. There's some fluff about Iron Warriors Berzerkers somewhere; other than that, they seem to follow the path of Undivided as well. Alpha Legion's attitude towards Chaos seems to foster diversity more than dedication, so they're Undivided as well. The Cult Legions are self-explanatory. So other than Black Legion and rare instances in some other Legions, mixed warbands would probably be found more in more recent renegades.
Take my love, take my land, take me to where I cannot stand; I don't care I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.

I haven't read Daemon World myself, but there can be extremists in every religion, Chaos worship included. This particular point could be limited to a particular group of Word Bearers, rather than represent the whole of Legion. Differences in ideology can well occur within ranks of a single Legion - think, like the depictions of Khorne that emphasize on martial pride/honor versus mindless rage/slaughter.Hm. Well, in Daemon World the Word Bearers Captain seems to indicate my position. But perhaps newer works have overwritten that?
Well, yeah. Word Bearers are the extremists, and their behavior in Daemon World seemed to be characterized as the norm for their Legion. Unlike most of the Daemon Primarchs, Lorgar seems to have retained a level of discipline in his Legion, particularly in the area of faith, so I'd expect them to be fairly homogenous.
