After the interesting input from what can face down the nids. What intriges me the most is the possibility of a major hive fleet entering the eye of terror and the eventual clash bewteen the ruinious powers and the Hive mind. Ive heard that Nurgle made a Plague to use on the Tyranids. This chaos vs nids possiblity has always fascinated me. Probably because of the shadow of the warp. We don't know the effects of it on a Warp god. For all we know, they could negates its effects. Then you have those countless daemons, creature that you can never truly kill. The chaos gods do have quite a bit to loose if the imperium is ovverun and all the cultists and secret chaos worshippers are eaten.
Frankly, this would be the "irresistible force vs immovable object" paradox-thingy. As in, we can't be sure how it turns out, and when it happens the results probably aren't going to be anything anyone expected.
Nids instinctively avoid the EoT, as I understand it.. I suppose they could be forced into it, but they try and stay away from all warp anomalies. If you think about it, the Nids primary sensory and communication system is the warp, so anything which disrupts it is like a big blind spot to them.
And yes, Chaos warps everything.. There's no telling what would happen to the Nids in the Eye. You wouldn't neccesarily wind up with 'Chaos Nids,' but the results could be pretty icktastic for all involved.
I can imagine Nids working particularly well with Tzeentch.
Simply because of the Hive Mind's ever changing quest to become better and evolve into something more ... killy (or is that the Overind??... *shrugs*)
This works really well with Tzeentch being the master of change.
There's a khornate side to nids as well, although this is mainly demonstrated by Hormagaunts and stuff I guess.
Nurgle... perhaps in the form of their spores and stuff which they use to destroy a planets fauna and turn it into DNA soup.
Slaanesh... well, Slaanesh was spawned by pretentious hanky users. Nids are neither pretetious or use hankies.

I still think Chaos would win out. The Shadow of the Warp, the main 'nid protection against things Warp-borne, is still based in the Warp. This means there's still material for the chaos gods to play with, and destroy them with. The Shadow is not like the C'tan pylons, as I understand it. If it were, they might do something.
