Correction: He didn't say anything about his army fluff at all. ^_^You didn't actually go into any details as far as your army fluff goes.
:hahaha sorry i guess i misunderstood what army fluff is i just thought it was some cool stuff about an army so yea sorry but uh... wat is actually army fluff then?
oh and sorry bout the misunderstanding on my part
Fluff = backstory.
So "army fluff" would be a backstory for an army.
The name refers to facial hair, not playing style.Originally Posted by A news vendor's stand, London, June 1940

My kroot shaper's name is Warpstepper (I subscribed to the forum at the same time that I started the army) and this is his story.
Originally Warpstepper was just known as his kindred birth name Maanuk. Maanuk was a shaper leading a Carnivore squad being recruited by a Space Marine force in an upcoming ambush on a large Chaos Demon horde expanding on one of the Emperor's planets. Maanuk's squad was supposed to sneak behind the demons as the Space Marines go for a head on attack. When the scout unit returned with its news of the demons' location, the Captain gave Maanuk his orders to take the carnivore squad around the demon army. As the squad crossed over a tall rocky hill, they heard the sound of snarling and stomping. They stared off into the distance and noticed a pack of Bloodletters and a Chaos Lord waiting for their attack. Maanuk made the decision to lead his squad back to the main Space Marine army. By the time that the Space Marines were in their view, the army was in hand to hand combat with the demons. The numbers of the demons were far greater than what the scouts had reported and the Space Marines were being taken out fast. Maanuk called an assault on the closest unit of Daemonettes that were in combat with a struggling assault squad. When the group of twenty kroot and twenty kroot hounds joined the combat, most of the demons switched their focus away from the assault marines. The four remaining marines retreated to one of the two Dreadnoughts giving support fire to the command squad. The Dreadnought took out the few pursuing Daemonettes which left Maanuk's kindred with about twelve to take care of. Maanuk slashed two out with his power glaive and finished off a few demons struggling under a couple hounds. They took care of the Daemonettes with no casualties which gave Maanuk the courage to proceed into the middle of the fight. Out of the corner of his eye, Maanuk, at the back of his squad, spotted the Bloodletters charging for him! He instantly turned and called out for the Carnivore Kindred to meet the Khorne demons’ challenge. With half of the Bloodletters defeated Maanuk suddenly thought of the absent Lord. Suddenly, a Dreadnought shell flew over Maanuk's head from behind him and he turned around to see the Chaos Lord letting out a yell with blood dripping from his jaw, and a jump pack attached to a bloody, wiry, suit of power armor, on the ground. Maanuk thought back to the stories that he was told about the chaos magic and realized that greater daemons are spawned through the bodies of Chaos commanders. The Lord started to mutter words of chaos and he started to glow with a purple-red tinge. With his squad starting to struggle with the Bloodletters and two kroot and four hounds dead, Maanuk realized that the only way to get his squad out of this battle alive was to run back and kill the Lord with his squad occupying the Bloodletters. Maanuk charged at the mutating Lord while it was at a bright red glow and its armor was beginning to crack. Maanuk swung at the mass of chaos which was morphing into a Bloodthirster. The collision of the Power Weapon and Warp Energy opened a rip in the air and Chaos Energy burst out across the battle field. The energy was so powerful that the Space Marine power armor was rendered useless and cracked away. Even the demons, composed of almost pure chaos, were obliterated after being hit with the wave of warp. In the field of suffering human bodies and blobs of chaotic flesh, the kroot were the only warriors standing on the craggy plain of the planet’s surface. The kroot were alone, they were without enemies, but without allies as well. There was no way for them to contact allies to retrieve them. They were stranded for the remaining 2 months. They survived easily because of their ability to feast on the flesh of the dead space marines. After the first two weeks, seven kroot had died. Maanuk was left with eleven kroot along with sixteen hounds. The kroot were changed and their skin was turned to a dark-grey-purple color in their time of survival. After the two months, two tactical squads on a scouting mission found the kroot, close to starving to death. The kroot were retrieved by a Thunder-hawk Transporter and they were brought back to their home planet of Pech and were venerated for their survival. They were recognized by their odd skin color among the kroot and Maanuk was named Master Shaper and he and his squad of eleven kroot and sixteen kroot hounds were put in charge of a Kroot patrol pack on kroot and the Army was deemed “The Delving Blade” after Maanuk’s blade that hacked through the skin of a greater demon into the Warp, and he gained his name Warpstepper from his leading of the surviving squad of kroot.
Hoped you like my little army backround . Critisism is welcomed as well as complements or comments! thanks
