Is there anyone who can shed alittle light on these guys? i know very little about them but what i do know i love.
Also i've only ever seen the single model painted in the sons colour. Are there any pictures or links out there that can show me more.
There was some brief mention of them in the Index Astartes article on Chaos Renegades, nothing more.
And it's sons of MALICE.
Unless he's a Scotsman who somehow misspelled Wallace.
Yes, there are female marines and my Sunhawks will let you know in a major way.
Not all the Emperors Children turned coat. We will redeem our name.
They were originaly the Sons of Malal, a Chaos renegade chapter devoted to the god Malal and known for their canabalistic ways. When GW losed the rights to the name Malal and the fluff about him they were renamed the Sons of Malice.
Well they are still worshippers of Chaos, even though they don't worship the regular Chasoy stuff. I reckon they are somewhat indifferent to the Imperium.
The Sons of Malice chapter turned renegade some time prior to the Thirteenth Black Crusade. It was founded to watch over the Eye of Terror. Events leading to the chapter's excommunication began following the successful end of the Cilix 225 campaign against heretics who had threatened to depressurize three underwater hive cities.
Kathal, Captain of the First Company of the Sons of Malice1, led the chapter victory rites, which bordered on cannibalism, observed by Inquisitor Internetportal.com - Internetportal Resources and Information., a senior member of the Ordo Hereticus. Flesh-eating rituals are common among the Space Marines; Pietas was obviously unacquainted with the barbarous customs of Space Marines and mobilized a strike force of Adepta Sororitas Celestians to deal with the "heretics". The Sisters made planetfall right in the midst of the Company at the height of their celebrations. Kathal and his troops responded to the interference of their sacred Chapter rites by savagely attacking the strike force, defeating the Celestians. Kathal dragged the meddling Inquisitor before the chapter altar where she was ritually sacrificed.
The Sons of Malice were excommunicated and now reside within the Eye of Terror, from which they wage a hate-fueled war against the Imperium they see as betraying them, as much as against other followers of Chaos.
Their homeworld was scelus, in the Cadian Sector, and the grisly tendencies which caused their excommunication were found to be rooted in the barbaric practices of the native, feral world population. These tribes were almost entirely eradicated by the Cadian 331st in a planet-wide campaign of genocide following the chapter's withdrawal into the Eye.
Scelus was declared Perdita. During Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade the Sons of Malice fought alongside the Chaos forces, trying to reclaim their homeworld.
This is what i found out about the sons. Kinda cool . I am left wondering about the cannibilisim. Would a sapce marine have to divulge in eating or partly eating another space marine to be a canibal or would just eatin human flesh be enough to mark them as a cannibal?
Something i dont think much light will be shone on.
DeathSword, you might want to make sure you include where your quoting from. Its pretty easy to figure it out, what with all the links leading to other Lexicanum pages, but its still a nice thing to do.

And your info is mostly correct, although it's unnecessarily slanted in favour of them being victims rather than monsters (yes, they ate lots of people, it wasn't bordering on cannibalism, it was cannibalism on a genocidal scale) and the whole thing about their planetary origins, which hasn't been covered.. The good stuff there is from the Rogue Sons IA article. They also won't have fought in the Black Crusades, as they went renegade and have been spotted fighting both Imperial and Chaos forces (fitting with the blatant reference to Malal) so they won't have fought in the Black Crusades.
It's also mentioned that they fight in complete eerie silence at all times. Presumably a slightly cheeky reference to the copywrite limitations.

Woops sorry guys. This info is from lexicanum.com. I tried wikipidia aswell but it said much along the same lines. I know neither website is harcore fact rather just players ideas and fluff. But hey its better than nothing.
I had no idea these fellas were so bloody mental. When i read that they divulged in cannibilism i thought just like drinkin a chalice of blood or eating a pound of flesh. Not at all did i think they would try and work their way through an entire population
Theres no way they can be taken as the missunderstood good guys in this. I mean i know chapters have their own rituals. Mortificators drinking blood, white scars also take part in blood rituals but trying to eat the population of a conqured world i think might b one step to far. The inquisitation were right to get involved imo.
Kinda geting closer to what i think these guys should or would look like.
