Ok, We know that Space marine chapters will be nice to a fellow human and butcher anything non human with extreme prejudice and take pleasure in it. Also we know mankind in general will kill even a peaceful xenos instead of co existing it. What about the Emperor? Did he hate all Xenos, even eldar? Would he have preached a peaceful co existance with them, Or would have been the adolf hitler of the Galaxy commiting Xenocide on a level unseen before, Willing to kill 100,000 xenos than see one human die. Seeing humanity as the master species so to speak. I'm guessing that since he is seen as the father of humanity, it is his duty to ensure their well being, which might mean killing anything that isn't human. What also sparked this question was the possibility that if The emepror became a god he'd be the chaos god of hatred, hatred for what isn't human.
Take in mind i have NO knowledge of Great Crusade fluff as I don't know what to read. Same goes for Horus heresy as I haven't read them yet. So please do not treat me as if I should have known this from the beginning.
Welcome to the imperium heretic,
*runs Hashulaman through with a chainsword*
Its alright the Heretic has been slain! you can go back to peaceful praise of the almighty imperator.

*revives by the will of the chaos gods and zaps PAW with a psykik bolt.* I told you I play chaos marines >.> And you didn't asnwer my question.
Well, the way I always understood it is that the Imperium was supposed to be something rather close to utopia, so I'd guess the Emperor was only against those aliens who wanted to kill humans.
Considering that the Imperium is a fascist dictatorship with extremely heavy religious undertones, I would say the Emperor (and the Imperium of Man) is very racist. 'Suffer not the alien to live'? Check. Ordo Xenos? Check. Religious crusade? Check.
I mean, it's pretty obvious. There are a ton of connections to modern religions and their historical xenocidal events.
Well, when put like that its hard to determine was the Emperor racist, i mean the crusade he started on with his marines was not to anhilate everything in the galaxy but unite mankind under one banner, now they didnt original go around wielding chainaxes above their heads shouting prays to the almighty emperor, because origianly he was seen as their comander, now i guess with the emperors voice out of the picture, religious entities have indeed change the thought process of most imperial citizens and as such has decayed it into a racial faction.
So in answer, The emperor himself was NOT a racist, his marines all had opions formed of their own so some may have been the majority would not, they only do as they are told.
but the imperium Now so to speak, yes... is the biggest racists sect of all.
as for the emperor being a god, he isnt officail god like. he is simply being sustanied by the arco tech ofthe golden throne which needs souls to be powered.. nothing to dodgy bout that what so ever.
It was the people of the imperium who worship hip as a god is all.
Yes the Emperor was the person to get rid of gods in the 40k fulff (read the first few books of the horus heresy) when small cults began calling the Emperor the "God Emperor" he declared he was not a god.
"Thank him who puts me loath to this revenge on you who wrong me not for him who wrongd"
I'm fairly sure that the Emperor himself was just as much a xenos-hater as the rest of them. He was only bothered when Fulgrim wiped out a planet of civilised, technologically-advanced aliens called the Laer because a huge amount of Emperor's Children died in the process. Never mind that the race was completely exterminated and had appeared peaceful in the first place.
