Hellooo, im returning to warhammer after a couples years break, and with the advent of a new chaos codex (and edition 5 ) ive rebuilt my army from scratch.
So ive i know where my army is going but theres one slight issue, I dont have a name for it.
So, some abbrieviated history of my army, and hopefully someone can help me
They are formed from the remnants of Abbadons force, who were left on the planet Saviour. It has severly mutated outcasts and trators with a squad of traitor guardsmen (who i see have been removed from the codex??), They are lead by a sorcerer, and is mainly infantry, with a vindicator stolen from other chaos warbands along with the rest of their gear
---ill continue later---
Sons/Children of Saviour? If they were left behind perhaps they are really bitter with Abaddon and no longer want to fight under his banner so have renamed themselves because of that?
I'd probably personally prefer a Latin name, such as Legio Salvatoris, which means something close to "Legion of Saviour" or "Legion of the Saviour". Both are equally suitable translations, since Latin makes no "the/a(n)" distinction.
There is also Filií Salvatoris, which means "Sons of (the) Saviour".
//NOTE: This is as close to proper Latin as I've been able to get, mostly because I've been unable to find the declension for "salvator" anywhere.
