So, I was one of the lucky 300 who bought a collector's edition Horus Heresy book (no. 141!). I am in in love with GW for putting this out - it's absolutely fantastic! Leather covers, pristine... well, everything. The reason I put this in the "fluff" section is that I highly recommend it for anyone who has any interest in the Primarchs pre-Heresy - it has sketches of all primarchs (before the Chaos mutations), and high-quality images of the Emperor and Horus (Horus post-Heresy), not to mention just about anything anyone could want to know. I was so royally *****ed I could not get my hands on one, I think its unfair that they made so few when its obvious many people would want to get one.

Actually, I take back my indignation. I went to the online store at the GW website and just bought one. For some reason I must have assumed they had already come out. To tell you the truth I am a bit surprised I got one.

Yes sanginus did have wings and was fully capable of flying. They were a mutation he got when the chaos gods stole him away and cast him towards baal.

always wondered how come the ordos hereticus dident terminate sanguinius's mutant ass lololol if anyone came up with that mutation outside of the blood angels hed get burned 2 the stake (and if he showed up in the blood angels chapter they whould trow a big "look at us we got our "primarch" back" party)

I don't think the ordo hereticus even existed back then. Even if they did sanguinus wasn't found until he had come into the fullness of his powers. I would like to see some poncy witchhunters trying to kill a freakin primarch. He was the emperors son so i think he was a bit above that kind of trouble.
