Other non DiY chapter (please specify)
Whats your favorite Space marine chapter Fluff wise.
Pfft... lame. Your poll is lacking the most obvious answer- Crimson Fists! It's like you just don't care.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
white scars - because they are based on mongolians who single-handedly brought the greatest empire the world had ever known to its knees (sort of), and because they have one of the most sensible combat doctrines a space marine chapter could employ, one that minimises their own casualties and maximises their opponents deaths.
my second choice would be balck templars - because they are the representation of the teutonic order!
I would have to go with the blood angels, i dunno what it is, but somthing about a bunch of super human vampires running around in suits of power armour, blowing shit up, and drinking blood going crazy, well yeah to much realy, plus as the other fellow did say... Their Primach did kick some chaos arse. Plus he had wings..
I vote Chapter I: A Long Expected Party.
I chose the Dark Angels, because they epitomize what Space Marines should be: Dark, fanatical and sinister, with a shady background and a healthy disregard for anybody else's lives.
Space Wolves. They're space vikings.
Space. Vikings. Need I continue.
Veni Vidi Variant
I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.
The spikey ones go faster.
98% of the teen population has smoked weed, the other 2% went straight to crack.
Saga of the Ages. Click it.
Rules for grenades are on page 72 of the rulebook.
Salamanders. Self-reliant, with a streak of individualism that few other chapters enjoy. Oh, and they burn the hell out of everything.
I also like the Iron Hands and Soul Drinkers.
"Dear Diary: Today I may of accidentally registered myself as a sex offender. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LIFE!" - Dinosaur Comics
Ok Paint moneky......thats why i put other, Crimsons fists were neither a first founding chapter nor have their own book. So they go into the "other" catagory
For me, it would be a toss-up between Salamanders and Ultramarines.
"GASP!!! He said Smurfs!" You bet I did. They are the original, ideal Space Marines, without any of the deviant traits/mutations/assorted freakshow nonsense that mar the purity of the others. It's not called being vanilla, it's called setting the standard.
The Emperor set a fire in their hearts that they might burn the iniquitous and the impure from his sight. And the light of that flame shall be as a beacon to the faithful, a light that shines in the darkest places.
