It says, "This could spell the doom of humanity, for the core of the Necron threat nestles like a cancer within the heart of the Imperium itself."
It sounds like more support of the Adeptus Mechanicus going sour on the Imperium.
A youth with his first cigar makes himself sick; a youth with his first girl makes other people sick. - Mary Wilson Little
There is always something hanging over the Imperium, or the other races for that matter. There are Q'Tans on both Earth and Mars, one of which is underneath the golden throne.
On the other hand, the Adeptus Mechanicus is drawing ever closer to getting a full copy of the Standard Template Construct, and recovering the long-forgotten technologies of the old confederation.
Or the fact that if the Tyranids manage to reach the centre of the galaxy, it will mean bad news for everybody that values existance. (Not exactly sure why on that one).
Alot of these sorts of things are in the storyline. It won't ever spell the end of a race though. Well, not unless they become unpopular
:huh:There are Q'Tans on both Earth and Mars, one of which is underneath the golden throne.
I know about the "C'Tan on Mars" theory, but not this throne one...
I'm not sure where it was now, it was in a White Dwarf. Under the golden throne, being guarded by a set of Adamantine gates, a void shield and two Warlord Titans. I wonder if a C'Tan (Q'Tan, C'Tan?) would take a full volley from 2 warlords lol.

Battlefleet Gothic 2002 Annual, Necron Reapers article:
"There is a vault deep beneath the Golden Throne of the Emperor, below the mile upon mile of departments of the Administratul, below the deep storage levels and the vastness of the dungeons of Earth. Its gates are adamantine. It is locked with enchantments of stasis. None can enter without the seal of the Lords of Terra. Of its dark and silent guardians I will not, dare not, speak."
It was stasis seals, not void shields sorry. The article isn't specific about the guardians, I thought they were Warlord Titans, but I was wrong.
Edit: Can't find any information on the guardians, your guess is as good as mine, I haven't read the article in a while, thought it said they were titans, but I was mistaken.
I'm sorry, C'Tan on both Terra and Mars? I think not. There is one on Mars, yes, who is the Machine God of the Admech.
The crypt beneath the Golden Throne is the one of Forbidden Knowledge, everything that is known about the universe Pre-Imperium and anything that is deemed catostrophic knowledge for any but the High Lords of Terra to know is locked away in this deepest darkest vault.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
Maybe the Carcass in the "Golden" throne is a DEAD C'Tan.I'm sorry, C'Tan on both Terra and Mars?
MEAT IS MURDER
About that vault in the Horus Herasy book it talks about the emperor returning to Terra to continue a great work in the Dungeons below Terra i believe that this Vault you speak of could be the final resting place of this great work.
