Just a quick question, I need for my fluff.
How long do Space Marines and IG normally life for?
I would think IG have the same life expecptancy as humans now, but just want to make sure.

I also thinks that the IG live as long as humans do now days, but space marines can live for several hundred years, I think that Logan Grimmar is about 600+
IG is about the same as ours. On second thought, guardsmen probably die sooner. For SM it depends on the chapter, they typically live a couple of hundred years, I think BA live longer than most others, IIRC dante is like 1,100 years old now. Still a youngster compared to us Chaos space marines though .

with the tecnology the imperials use that only the most scenior IW could understand they would live longer in stacis for space flite
I think I read somewhere that the average life expectancy for a space marine is about 400- 500 years, and as you say dependent on what chapter.
Flesh tearers live maybe for 250-300 because of the black rage, maybe they are executed when they become to unstable...
For IG it depend on how much action they meet and how many that get killed in combat.
In a bloody campaign they might have an average life of 40 years but for regular "guard" IG it would be as us, around 75years and up, or down depending on climate...
