    Imperial fists fluff

Hi everyone haven't posted in a while I'm thinking of starting a new army and Imperial fists are one of the candidates. I just want to know about more about their fluff I know some of the basics about them but when I start an army I like to know their background.

Well they were one of the original legions. They are based on terra and, before the creation of the adeptus custodes, filled the role of the emperor's bodyguard. During the siege of terra, they were one of the legions that defended the palace against chaos. They are masters of siege warfare as well as fixed defense and have an intense rivalry with the chaos iron warriors, the chaos siege specialists. They are also well known for their mastery in extremely disciplined bolter fire.

They pretty much retain codex traits, only differing as for as not displaying company colors on the trim.

Lysander is the capt. of the first company and is well known for coordinating mass terminator assaults, even after accidentally teleporting a squad into solid rock

that's just what I know off the top of my head, check lexicanum.com for more info.
The only constant in the universe is change, adapt or die.

Lysander didn't teleport his squad into rocks; Cultists disrupted the teleportation. Lysander took the thunder-hammer of a dying Brother-Terminator and fought on. When reinforcements arrived at the bridge that Lysander and the remaining Brother-Terminators had been holding, it took them a number of hours to clear the bridge of corpses enough that the bridge could be used.

A sentence which seems to crop up in any piece of writing about space marines

    try:

that may help, also I would test out trying to paint a model yellow (you may or may not like the look as I found out)
