I know chaos orks don't really exist but as far as I can gather the main reason they don't exist is because other orks would kill a possessed or otherwise corrupted ork for being unorky.
If an ork displays unorky behaviour he gets killed, right?
But if you were to take ork kultur out of the equation would that facilitate the creation of a chaos ork?
I'm thinking a long winded plan by some far thinking chaos type (sorcerer, lord, daemon, whatever) to create a tribe of orks who have nothing to do with other ork culture who believe that Khorne (or whoever) is just another manifestation of Gork (or Mork) and so worship him accordingly.
You know how orks create spores and then the spores create orks? Its at that point the Chaos type would intervene before they have reached maturity, although I confess to not knowing a lot about the Ork reproduction cycle.
I'm not sure how I could get the chaos type to influence the tribe - daemons can shapeshift I suppose, sorcerers could get into the head of the main boss, and there has been fluff instances of orks showing respect to strong humans so maybe a khorne lord could command some sort of respect amongst the orks.
Its just an idea I'm mulling over but thought the only way Orks could become Chaos Orks was if they never knew the way other proper orks did things.
One for the scrap heap or could it work?
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
Check the back of the Deamonhunters codex, there are a few reasons for Chaos/Deamonic Orks in there.
ofton creatures dont even realise they are servents of chaos untill its too late.
