I started my Army fluff way berfore I even started collectin an IG army.
[i]The 3rd Kriegs Panzer Division was part of the First Kriegs Panzer Corp, and was deployed to retaking the Saint Corodus system from the riegn of twisted Chaos, foul Orks, and devoius Eldar. They were one of the first IG regiments to battle Necrons from thier awakening.
Thier finest and most glorious battle was at the battle of Gofly when they retook the largest planet in the system in less then a week from the foul Orks. They are at the foremost of the Crusade and always victorios in the service of the Emperor. They have been an active unit for over 1000 years with their name woven in silver hanging on a standard waving proudly over the Golden Throne along with a thousand other standards of thousands of other glorified regiments of the Imperial Gaurd.
These dudes sound really interesting. Can we get a tad more info on them, possibly?
Uh, sure. What would you like to know?
Well, characters, past and present. You know, like commanding officers or notorious commisars, reknowned individuals or lucky squads. Famous victories or embarassing defeats, their formation or how they will die out. Anything, the possibilities are endless.
