Like 1 forge world makes 10 in a day... or 1 in 10 years... can someone give me da answer?
I think one in 10 years is closer than 10 in a day, but I cant say for sure. I can only imagine that the production of them is rather slow. Sorry if I am not much help, I don't know if there has even been an exact answer to that question.
even 10 in a day is still slow since demand is SUPER HIGH!
Larger, more established Forge Worlds like Mars or Ryza would likely build them faster than average, but you'd still be talking about decades per tank at the very minimum, IMHO.
There's a reason that entire army groups are sacrificed to reclaim a single wrecked Baneblade - they're the 3rd rarest item in the Imperial arsenal, after Titans and Starships. And remember, this is a world where starships have been known to take centuries or even millenia to complete!
They're produced very slowly. Specific numbers are pure speculation.
I do recall an article somewhere detailing the production of a Rhino.
Lots of pausing the production for blessing it. Every 13th one being double blessed, and every 666th one being melted down for scrap.
Honestly baneblades aren't that big, to require years to build!
Well if they are that slow to build can you have several parrallel production lines along side of it? you know make like 10 in 10 years?
Problem is, few worlds know how to make Baneblades, and they are all forge worlds. And since they are producing a lot of EVERYTHING, ammunition and armour (I assume) taking precedence, Baneblades aren't as necessary to produce, as they are used less.
Of course, if the Dawn of War: Soulstorm game is taken as canon, a non-forgeworld can produce a hundred Baneblades per shipment, and each shipment takes about a month or so,
I think about six months for each factory on a forge world to produce a squadron. There are of course lots of factories so they might be churning out hundreds of the things a full tilt.
