Which Craftworld fits my army best?

I am trying to make an infiltration based Eldar army at 1500pts.
The bulk of the models will be Striking Scorpions, Warp Spiders and Guardians. Also I might put in some Reapers or Rangers. Dire Avengers would be useful too, but I may not have the points. I'd like to have War Walkers, a Wraithlord and a Farseer in there too.

But the problem is, I don't know what craftworld they would best fit in with.
And as I'd much rather base it off an existing craftworld than make a new one for my army. And as I am really new to this and am not yet familiar with the fluff etc. I decided to come here to see if anyone has any ideas.

Are there any Craftworlds that use infiltration and Warp a lot?

NB: I Don't really want to use Alaitoc, as I don't want the rangers to be the key units. More the Scorpions and the Spiders.

    Unintentional Arachnid theme here...

well, with my codex to hand

    biel tan-has no guardians

saim hann - are based around jetbikes

ulthwe- virtually no aspects, which you have some of

alaitoc-you dont want em to be like that

    iyaden- wraith constructs

yme loc- you would have to have many tanks

lugganath- hope to start afresh in the webway

altansar- basically lived in the warp for many years, might be the best one for your army

    ilkaithe and ibraesil dont fit

P.O.I. why don't you want a homebrew craftworld? There's nothing wrong with the ones that GW made, but it's a somewhat unusual request. Care to elaborate?

I like trying to work with fluff. That's all really.
The Altansar backstory has to be one of the best.

But maybe a Homebrew Craftworld would be the way to go. At least I get an entirely unique colour scheme.

I hear that. It's cool. I personally like to make up my own story.

Correct me if I'm wrong (since I don't want to try and find mah codex) but isn't Altansar the one that got pulled out of the Eye of Terror, but nobody trusts them since they assume that anything in the Eye would be dead or Chaos?

Also, if you want to go homebrew with your pointy hats I'll be happy to help. And for the record I play Eldar so that puts me (and you) in that exclusive club of people who actually have the right to make fun of the SPESS ELVES...FROM SPESS.

They were indeed the craftworld that were stuck in the Eye for a mellenia and then got pulled out with help from Maugan Ra during the 13th black crusade.

Actually a Home made craftworl would be fun to make

I think I'll do that actually.

I think, seeing as they'll be stealthy, the colour would be greens to blend in more to surroundings.

    Which sounds better?
    Craftworld Insidia
    Craftworld Imagi

I'm having ideas for a backstory too.
Maybe something like the Craftworld appeared out of seemingly nowhere and had never been heard of before by anyone. It could have been so ancient it had been forgotten and presumed extinct.

I dunno. Maybe Imagi. Insidia sounds vaguely chaotic. Or dark Eldar.

I'm glad for you man. Keep us posted (so to speak).

That fits well. It means appearence in Latin.
I got the idea from one of the other minor craftworlds: Aringhe. This is Italien for Herring, and their primary colour is red. Red Herrings, meaning different and out of the ordinary ^^.

erm... a red herring is an idiom for an attempt to sidetrack someone... so it would work perfectly for Eldar, but you had the wrong definition

Sounds cool. The Codex does briefly say something about there being many other forgotten Craftworlds drifting through deep space. Basically a story hook for exactly this kind of thing. Perhaps your Craftworlds escape path took it into the fringes of the galaxy, where it hasn't had too much contact with the Imperium et al, hence it being relatively unknown untill now.

I like Imagi as a name for it.
