Right, I need help designing fluff for my new dark angels successor chapter. My idea is that they are part of the Angels of Absolution an order as they call it. However after a reason expedition to try and wipe out on the Orks on Planet X the WHOLE of the 1st and 2nd company were destroyed, including all weapons and armour stocks.
Now the chapter's newly named "3rd Company" has to salvage all the old armour so that they can fight and honour their Order. This means they have a bleached bone basecoat setup, but have a wash of Gryphonne Sepia over it, to make it look old and battered etc. This force is filled with oldish men who were taken out of the army because they were... old, however they were brought back into the 3rd Company in order to defend their home ship as it is with Dark Angels chapters.
What I need help with is expanding on my fluff. Maybe whilst out destroying these Orks the warp opened and Chaos rained hell upon them, I dont know, I need you guys to help me.
Wait, oldish men meaning space marines that were too old? That never happens, Dante is supposed to have been around for 600+ years?
If you call it a Missile launcher, then it'll never hit anything.
100% of people who aren't Karmoon know Saraneth is invincible.
Thats a hole in my idea, good point xD
Space Marines are mostly immortal. They usually die in battle after a couple of centuries, but if left alone they'll just keep going and going and going.

Come, sons of LO! Kneel before Poodle!
Mr_Wayne: "Some people believe that the World Eaters do not field any ranged weaponry. Those people often die at a distance."
Dark Angels (and successors) are based on seclusion and chaos-hunting. They do other Space Marine-y activities on occasion, as well.
Also, for all we know Space Marines are practically immortal. No Space Marine has ever died of natural causes.
Terminator armor going critical would be like Three Mile Island only very, VERY angry, and carrying a hammer.
LO rules in a nutshell: Don't post unit costs, be polite, rep posts containing of win.
