In the codex it is perfectly legal have noise marines, plague marines, thousand sons and Khorne Berserker's fighting side by side, but in 'reality' would this happen?
Depends which reality. In all previous Chaos books, no, as each God hated each other. But with the recent updates, GW decided to ignore all the back stories and rewrite history, so now all the Gods are happy-clappy friends
Two words: Black Crusades
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
They could very well fight together. As TRZ succinctly put it, the Black Crusades Abbadon was able to bring chaos forces together to wreak devastation across sectors. Of course, it is very likely that they could turn on each other later. It is chaos...
Ok, thanks a lot. I don't really like the idea of them all working together as there all so different, I mean, would Khorne have the patience not to order his warriors to slay everything in sight to work with Tzeentch in one of his schemes?
On the other hand, they may work together against a common enemy, like America and Russia did in WW2.
Its plausible therefore that Khorne and Slaanesh could launch a join attack on some unsuspecting Space Marines . After the Space Marines are destroyed they could very well turn on one another for the loot/lols/whatever, or simply part ways, respecting the others skill at arms.

As was said before, a good enough leader could unite them, and on the individual level the Chaos Marines probably don't care a huge amount about the wars their gods wage in the Warp.
However, it's Chaos, and if they can be convinced to work together, they can be convinced to work against eachother.
Terminator armor going critical would be like Three Mile Island only very, VERY angry, and carrying a hammer.
LO rules in a nutshell: Don't post unit costs, be polite, rep posts containing of win.
The best way to fo it fluff wise is to do one of the traitor legions that is undevided/pantheon. Black legion, Alpha Legion, Iron Warriros, Night Lords, and Word Bearers. Their worship of all the chaos gods makes it perfectly okay to have all of them.
If a Million Guardsmen die, that's a statistic. If one marine dies, that's a tragedy.
But those Undivided legions don't have Berzerkers, Nurglites, etc... they're just standard CSM. The whole point is that none of the marines have dedicated themselves, not just the legions.
As for why they're fighting together in your army, remember they're also occasionally quite mercenary in nature. If a squad of nurgle marines need bolter ammo, and some khornites offer to share in the spoils of their next raid if the icky ones agree to distract the terminators guarding the target (for example). They may both be planning on turning on each other, but they're fighting together now and that's what's important
