A Canoness, in a Witch Hunters army, can make a Leadership test if she has a faith point to use and gain +2 to her S3. She can take an eviscerator to make S10 attacks after doubling that strength. The eviscerator gets an additional dice for armor penetration, but that's ignored for monoliths, but all I'd need is a 5+ to get a pen on it anyways.

So my question: Could it be justified, in fluff, for a Canoness to have destroyed a monolith in the past with nothing but faith and a chain-fist wannabe?

    Yes.

What? Girls with swords are SCARY.

Seriously though: Grey Knights' faith alone can create a big fireball. Hell, their faith alone can make demons die.

So, it isn't that farfetched for a Cannoness to kill a monolith. If she was armed with a toothpick, that would be questionable. But not a 5-foot long chain-saw.
If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on a mime, does anyone care?

I think that it's pretty far fetched, but hey, most of 40k is pretty far fetched. Of course, that's why I LIKE 40k. It's not real life.

So, yeah, if it's legal, then do it. Do it. Hey, go kill that monolith tootsie. Do it. DO it.

Yes that is correct. The Eviserator doubles your strenth (to 6) and then you add your faith for +2 strenth (

The game is not designed to be coherent with the fluff... If it was, you could probably take out 2000 points of anything with less than 500 points of Space Marines.

Er, your failing to remember that Monoliths are skimmers. So ignoring the whole woman girl cutting open a monolith with a big knife idea (possible if youve experienced PMT), your forgetting to factor in the whole 5'5" woman having to jump.

(In game terms, with S8, thats amusing 6 to hit, 6 to glance, 6 to kill..not very likely).

So basically your going to have to write:

"She flew through the air and leaped onto the giant tank, then despite the alien skimmer having such incredible armour that it was equivalent to a Landraider, and plasma bolts merely bounced off it, Wendy managed to annihalate the massive tank with nothing more than her muscles and teeth"

    Hmmmm

To make it a bit more believable (and I'm talking fraction of a fraction) you could give her a jump pack
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sound of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts
    And tore the world asunder.

Another way to make it more believable is that previous fire immobilized it, (which can happen, thus meaning I auto-hit, so now all I need is a 6 followed by a 6, and I got 4 shots at that with a Canoness, and yes she did have a jumppack, cuz that's how I use my tank-busting Canoness,) and "Wendy" isn't using her teeth, she's using the grinding force of the equivalent of a chainfist.
