Hej there, I've been really fascinated with the Exorcist Chapter for quite a while now,
so i wanna create a offspring chapter and some fluff to it.
I'm looking for some good ideas or some fluff for their HQs and the overall chapter.
Why do they exists, when where they founded, and what do they do...
Name: ? Something with Phoenix ?
Founding Chapter: Grey Knights
Founding Legion: Exorcists
Monastery: Space based small fleet
Current list: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1664226 (feedback welcome)
This is the Pedro Kantor count as, he has no name yet.
I really like the model and with the Storm Bolter and the 12" +1 attack he sounds like a great addition to the GKs, some sort of exceptional hero that inspires people around him.
He and the Librarian (also unnamed so far) will be on the front line.
Here the GKT-BC that basically just serves as a controlling element together with the Inquisitor in the army and see that nothing goes wrong with the formerly possessed Space Marines.
Ideas, Tips, Feedback for the Fluff, the Armylist and the painting is very welcome, please use the respective links so it doesn't get mixed up too much....
Why not play the Exorcist Chapter itself? In the fluff I've read, the internal workings and leadership of the Exorcists aren't well-defined; only their unique anti-Chaos training. Since you've already got the color scheme going and the Exorcists are a very unusual Chapter, I'd just call my Marines "Exorcists 3rd Company" or something similar and leave it at that.

I would agree with entrepid that playing as the exorcist chapter would be a good route to go. Not only because they are not a legion and therefore cannot be your founding lgion, and the fact that the grey knights have no succesor chapters (which makes it impossible for them to be your founding chapter), but also because other chapters that underwent the specific training of the exorcist do not exist although they theoretically may. mainly, its just that your backround fluff would need a bit of work in order to make this plausible if you don't want to go with the exorcist chapter itself.

Well it´s an Exorcist chapter then, good enough.
And thanks for the specific info Mushin, I didn´t knew that the GKs were never founding anything else.
Thanks & rep to both of you...
