My acolyte (Dark Heresy), formerly a devout member of the military arm of the Ecclesiarchy, has been given (another) new identity to use in his arsenal for under cover work -- A zealous missionary of St. Corvinus (spelling?). Now, I'm not entirely sure if this is a fictitious saint of my GM's creation, or if he exists within 40k Canon.. so if the former, please disregard my questions.
What I know so far, is that Missionaries of St. Corvinus frequent the lower hives, preaching the righteous word of the Emperor to the downtrodden and broken, providing mass for those who likely need it the most, but have little or no access to a church of their own.
Now, in my next session, I am venturing into the underhives to perform investigation, and I am going under the guise of this missionary. I would like to prepare an actual sermon to give -- sort of appealing to my character's spiritual background, as he has the opportunity to impart genuine spiritual guidance to this community, even while executing his Inquisitorial duties. I would like to know, if there is any, any additional information about St. Corvinus, so I can tailor my sermon to be relatively accurate. Or, if this Saint is the creative product of my GM's campaign, I suppose I have full creative reign over what I write.
Thanks in advance!
i dont see anything on lexicanum and iv not heard of it myself befor, plus a google search acctualy brought this conversation up lol!
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.
~~ Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death~~
Well, I suppose you could ask the GM. I've never heard of St. Corvinus but to be perfectly honest the Imperium has more saints than Games Workshop has dollars.

Alright! Good stuff (: Thanks for confirming for me, I Googled and checked Lexicanum as well.. I had a suspicion St. Corvinus was designed for this adventure, but the way the GM mentioned him.. seemed like there might be fluff on him in one of the other DH supplements, or something.
I can't really ask my GM about it though. He works for the army, on the other side of the country, and we play via Skype conferences. So, pretty much next time I talk to him, will be the next session I play.
Anywho, thanks again!
