    The start of the Vanquishers

This is just breif intro, I have had marines sitting away for ages, and why not paint them up, so here is some background fluff to them. They are designed to combat my Nids. (Might help if you read their fluff a bit)

Usus zoomed around on his bike, behind him was a force of 20 strong battle brothers, they slammed into the flanks of a defenceless orc group. Screaming and revving echoing the battle field. Suddenly it was quite. Spores fell from the skies. They landed on the orc forces, and from the gooy fleshy spores roared seemingly endless swarms of gaunts. “TAKE COVER!” Boomed Usus, as bullet fire slammed into the ground were he was just standing, the bikers moved tot he far left flank and persisted on flanking them form the sides. Half way there, a massive Malwoc broke through the ground and tore bikers from their bikes, there was lots of screaming followed by a sudden gory crunch. Usus was one of the men thrown off his bike. He was picked up and thrown into the mouth of a Malwoc, his bikers went silent. The noise of a revving sound broke the silence, as a blade appeared through the Malwocs stomach, and Usus climbed out, covered in digestive juices. The squad looked at the sergeant dumbstruck. The goo covered marine spat on the ground next to the dead monster, and looked to his men and smiled. “Now men, that never happened, I don’t want any of you bringing that up again. Ever.” And he got back on his bike and rode off, with his marines behind him.

They hit the Tyranid horde hard from the extreme left flank, revving and cutting a gory arc through the forces. After hours of fighting the squad seemed to be split up. Usus was left with his second in command Marco. The two continued on their path of destruction. Driving underneath feet of stampeding carnifexes and hacking at the limbs, killing many. Eventually the two were singled out by a large Hive Tyrant. On the tyrants wing was a H and a V carved there by some guardsman as a desperate final act. This Hive Tyrant was the infamous High Velocity. The leader of the Hive Fleet macabre.

The two marines got off their bikes and circled the beast. A large roar from it and it charged at Marco, sending him sprawled on his back, winded. It rose its scything talon about to drop it on the injured marine, just in time Usu slept on the monsters back, stabbing his sword in its back and revving. The beast let out a huge scream and took off in the air, with the marine still on its back. Flying hundreds of metres above the war torn plains of the battlefield a loan marine dangled form the back of a huge Hive Tyrant.

On the battle field below the remaining bike members of Usus group heard screaming and looked up. To see their sergeant hanging at least 300 metres above the ground hanging on by his sword, The sergeant constantly revving the sword, started to climb on the back of the beast. Suddenly the Tyrant dropped, it was flying straight down. The amount of G force on the marine would of killed any lesser man, suddenly the tyrant pulled up, not 5 metres from the ground, blowing a huge breeze of air blowing back gaunts and marines alike. Suddenly the tyrant slowed down its flying and was skimming over the battlefield, Usus was confused, the beast was flying slowly. A roar interrupted his thoughts, the tyrant was roaring its head off, suddenly it went quite, it turned its huge head to look Usus in the eye. It smiled at the marine and winked a huge eye, suddenly from the ground ahead burst a large Trygon prime, it flew in the air, bursting form the ground it skimmed just over the tyrant, its scything talon knocking the marine off its back. The marine stood there on the ground winded. He was stunned. How could that beast make that sort of manoeuvre, the tyranids shouldn’t be able to make plans so precise as that.

A few hours later and the tyranids were forced off the planet. The captain requested to speak to Usus about his... incident. He was seen by the Captain on the battle field. An inquisitor briefed him on what was happening. Usus was chosen by the inquisitor himself to lead a new chapter, which has only one objective, to stop the living of this new hive fleet. The chapter would be called the Vanquishers, a sub chapter of the white scars as it was his own chapter prior.

Usus was treated for his wounds, and was promoted to chapter master of the small but specialised chapter. And they were sent to space, their chapter will be based on a ship. As Usus looked out the window he could swear he heared a small roar. High Velocity would fall by his hands. Or he would fall trying.

I may not like marines much but I do enjoy killing nids, and that guy has got style.

(Tyranids are actually my favorite enemy, something about wanting to eat everything makes them fun)
