Edit: I noticed that there was fluff about several Orders of Sisters of Battle at the Witch Hunters forums; and that most used Deadstar_MRC fluff as template. To keep up with the general theme I re-wrote the fluff of my order. I really hope it's not too long. and sorry in advance if it is.

Notes on Glais VI:
Glais VI used to be an ice giant, but was terraformed when Rogue trader Capital Ship "Grand Aigle" crash landed on the planet's surface in 327.M40. The planet's surface consists of four continents of ice and rock separated by confluent rings of sea.
The main source of economic income planet-wide is the farming of Jeux; a giant furry type of bovine cattle; the only type of livestock aboard the ship that could endure the cold weather.
Nearly 300 years after the crash land; in 678.M40, the newly inhabited world was stumbled upon by an Imperial Fleet. It was then officially annexed to the Imperium and classified as an Agri-World. The Administratum approved of the construction of a Spaceport to facilitate the transport of the Imperial Tithes and as a point of relay to other areas of the galaxy.
Although the planet's tech level is classified as "Warp Space" Most of the population lives in a Pre-Industrial level of technology. Only the Administatum controlled Spaceport, the Ministrorum buildings and the palaces of the Jeux Barons enjoy near-Low Imperial levels of technology.
Politically, the world is divided in seven provinces, each lead by a Jeux Baron [tyrants that for all intent and purposes act as Feudal Lords]. The Spaceport Administrator is considered the Planetary Governor; but the Barons are allowed to exercise independence as long as the Imperial Tithes are met. The personal armies of the Jeux Barons and the Spaceport Security force compose the world's PDF.
The Ministrorum has a large presence in the entire planet, as most of the inhabitants are descendants of devout followers of the Imperial Creed. It also has the monopoly on the only available heat source sanctioned by the planetary authorities, the Cobalterium Heaters.
The Order of the Cerulean Ember
The Sisters of the Cerulean Ember are the keepers of the only planetary factory of Cobalterium; a high performance solid fuel, colloquially known as 'cerulean ember' because of its blue glow when ignited. They are also charged with the distribution of the precious resource planet-wide.
The Ministrorum's Chapels double as Cobalterium Distribution Centers and are protected by at least one Sisters of Battle Squadron. The distribution of Cobalterium is dependant of the population's adherence to the Imperial Creed and the pay of the Ministrorum's tithes.
Among the passengers of the Trader Ship Grand Aigle was a Commandery of Battle Sisters of the Order of the Sacred Rose. Led by Canoness Commander Chastity La Croix, their presence was pivotal in maintaining the morale of the 1.5 million survivors of the crash land. When terraformig efforts began, the Engineseer and his Adeptus Mechanicus created a makeshift factory that would take ice from the planet's surface and make Cobalterium. The Sisters of Battle were charged with the protection and distribution of the 'cerulean ember'; and that is how they were known to the population at large as 'the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember'.
Since the terraforming efforts would take at least a century to be completed; Canoness Chastity decided to recruit and train substitutes for the initial 200 sisters, to take over when one of them would die or retire from active duty due to old age.
After the planet's atmosphere and oceans were terraformed, the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember used all their resources to guarantee Cobalterium supplies for the new colonial expeditions. The original 200 Sister force became rapidly insufficient and the newer recruits would wear Jeux-hide boots and gloves, white robes and sky blue cloaks due to the unavailability of Power Armors.
With the official annexation of the planet to the Imperium, the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember were granted the status of Minor Order; their numbers were swelled to that of a Preceptory and their new Power Armors were decorated to resemble the uniforms of their predecessors.
Planet Glais VI is known to be traditionally, for the most part, a peaceful planet. However, since the opening of the Spaceport, pirate raids have become a serious threat that has required the involvement of the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember in the protection of attacked sectors. Apart from that constant threat, the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember have had their share of action both locally and in other planets when requested by the Ecclesiarchy or the Inquisition .
In 998.M40: Inquisitor Nolan, with the assistance of Canoness Carine, uncovers a large Slaaneshi cult operating in the province of Morrel. The entire province is burnt to the ground.
In 147.M41, Baron Stanislas LaChance introduces an alternative heating source to the province of Nieres. The Siege of Nieres by the Order of the Cerulean Ember ends with three quarters of the province in ruin and Baron LaChance and his family tried and convicted for heresy.
389.M41 was both the darkest and brightest for the Order. Planet Glais VI was attacked by a fleeing Chaos Space Marine fleet. The PDF was nearly annihilated; the Shrine of the Cerulean Ember was desecrated and the Order was nearly whipped out. If it hadn't been for the timely arrival of the pursuing White Hand Space Marine fleet, Planet Glais would have fallen to Chaos.
The Order would have been disbanded had it not been for the numerous reports of a single Battle Sister named Cerise who, for several days, freed prisoners from the Chaos Space Marine camps; until she was finally caught, tortured and left for dead by the leader of the Chaos Space Marines. The accounts say that Sister Cerise rose and cut the head of the Chaos Terminator Lord with his own chainsword, before finally succumbing to her wounds.
Sister Cerise's canonization brought hope to the devastated world. Like its saint; Glais VI rose despite its wounds and in the course of a few years, returned to its former level of production.
The Order of the Cerulean Ember was granted new recruits from the nearest Schola Progeium.
In recent times, 80% of the Order's force was sent to Planet Drantur V; accompanying Inquisitor Emelda Garvel; to quench a Psyker uprising. The Sisters ended up overrun by a Chaos Daemons invasion. Only Inquisitor Garvel and a Squadron of Seraphims survived. The planet was deemed Exterminatus and the Seraphims were investigated for taints of Chaos.
Currently the Order is composed mostly of novices, right out of the Schola Progeium; and it's only half as big as it was in its prime.
From the very beginnings of their history at planet Glais VI, the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember have been more in contact with the public at large, than is usual for Adeptas Sororitas. Because of this disposition; all the Canonesses of the Order enforce a strict control over the Sororitas Sacred Vows of Chastity, Poverty and Obedience. Even the slightest slip will earn the offending Sister a spot at the Sister Repentia Squadron until the Repentia Mistress deems her worthy of returning to the rank of Battle Sister. If there are no battles for the Repentias to offer their lives to pay for their transgressions, the Repentia Mistrerss assigns them tasks [usually hard labor] and corporal punishment to penance.
After the humiliating defeat at the hands of Chaos Space Marines, it has become a tradition for the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember to dedicate one third of the year to grueling training exercises. The system is organized in a way that allows two thirds of the force to work transporting and distributing Cobalterium and the other third doing the training. Every Sister must participate, even the Canoness Superior, who traditionally accompanies the group who trains when the planet is at its winter season.
It is traditional for the new recruits; to be ordered to cast aside all their clothes and belongings, and take a plunge at the frozen waters of Lake Vernet. They are then required to dive through an underwater cave that serves as back entrance to St.Cerise's Tomb. The exercise has two functions:
1- It proves if the new recruits will follow orders without question.
2- It teaches the new recuits the importance of their job. As they swim deeper into the cave, the water grows warmer thanks to Cobalterium Heaters placed on the walls of the cave. The new recruits are encouraged never to forget the cold they felt and always remember that it is their job to bring the warm light of the Emperor to all the faithful servants who brave the cold without Power Armors.
The Sisters of the Cerulean Ember have always worked in small numbers; therefore, they give great importance to the protection of their troops. For every 10 Sister Squadron, there is an assigned Rhino APC to take them wherever they need to go.
The Order has a small force of Immolators and Exorcist tanks that see combat whenever they are needed. No expense is too big to give the troops all the support they need.
To ensure the survival of the troops, all new recruits are tested for marksmanship. The very best shots in a squadron are assigned the melta weapons. Those who have the poorest aim are given the flamers and forced to target practice to improve their skills.
For the Sisters of the Cerulean Ember, the Bolter is their bread and butter, and they put great emphasis to that aspect of the SoB Trinity; after all, the enemy can't get into close combat if all their soldiers die to bolter fire.
The Order of the Cerulean Ember usually recruits local girls indoctrinated at the Ministrorum Shrines; however they also accept any recruit from the Schola Progenium who volunteers to go to the forzen world.
Should a recruit refuse to take the plunge, she is sent home, or back to the Spaceport and the Schola Progenium. If she dies due to hypothermia; she's buried as a Sister of the Cerulean Ember who sadly had the heart, but not the resistance to fulfill her duty as a Daughter of the Emperor.
And that's it, thanks to all who read the first draft.

I edited the post to make my narrative more in line with the majority of the Sisters of Battle Fluff. I didn't notice them until after I had posted my fluff.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
