I have a question (baring in mind if only just returned after a 7 year break)
The black stone fortresses are, I heard, designed by an ancient race (possibly the necrons) to destroy the warp. I have also heard that when used in conjunction with the monoliths on the Cadian Gate they will close the eye of terror. In the same way that a single Ship can wipe a planet clean and a pair can destroy a Star, when a larger number of them fire at the monoliths it courses a chain reaction.
If these Monoliths/Black stones are millions of yeas old, how did they know that the eye of terror was going to form, saying it only came into existence 20,000 years old. Does this mean
A)Cadain has been moved
im talking crap
C)The future has been seen
D)Its just a Coincidence
Ow and after the eye of terror campaign finished is it true Leman Russ was would alive and well?
from what i no the blackstones othernames are the talismans of vaul so they are from what i can tell where actully made by the eldar to stop the nercrons when they returned but woth only one left out of the six they arnt much use
4 crumbled into nothingness at the end of the glothic war
1 was destroyed by the necrons near cadia
and the other one is still in chaos hands
i may be wrong and/or have read the wrong fluff but this is what i know.
Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?
I'd heard the Talismans of Vaul fluff as well. But why did four of them just suddenly crumble? And I thought Abaddon had two of them?
And Leman Russ didn't emerge from the Eye, it was the 13th Great Company, the Wulfen, that did. No sign of the Primarch.
Indeed, the Talismans of Vauls were created by the Eldar 'just in case' the Necrons (or Yngir as they are known to the Eldar) reappeared. Their purpose is definately nothing to do with the eye of terror and closing the cadian gate.
For more info:
they are designed to kill the C'tan, they are the only weapons capable of this.
