Is it possible that the two largest forces aiming to consume the galaxy will ever sparr in a great galactic conflict? In fulff terms of course . Since we already know that the hive fleets have avioded some Necron tomb worlds, is it plausable to assume that these two great powers are biding theor time to engage one another? Please debate.
P.S. please avaoid nonsensicle comments like "Tyranids wouldn't want to eat the Necrons cause they're metal." Think of the conflict as a balance of power. Will the children of the C'tan harvest the souls of the galaxy first? Or will the ravenous swarms of the hive mind consume the glaxy to the last planet?
I would guess yes, there would be an eppic battle. The reason tyranids avoid dead
worlds is because theres a lack of life, and biomatter they can ingest into the gene
pool. I would also guess that the fact that necrons have probably at one point
obliterated tyranids on a few ocasions. And one thing to be sure is they both
probably know about each other. All in all, I put favor in Necrons, just, those
machines gives me the creeps. They Have the we'll be back rule for self
repair, and they also have those shockingly accurate gauss flayers.
Also necrons have been known to go into stasis, and after a thousand years
emerge to the call of the c'tan. So ye see, If you put Machines over Biomatter
Machinery would win. Refer to matrix reloaded on how they set up the plot line
for machines harvesting human voltage for running equipment. ect...
