Ok this is a revised version of the Storm Hawks Codex Astartes that I posted earlier, I had to change the name thanks to the how to paint space marine book and I added some detail. Please tell me if any of the fluff doesn't make sense. Also if I could improve anything I would really like to know what you think.
The Order of the Brothers Tempest
Origins: The Order of the Brothers Tempest were founded during the most recent founding, the 26th, on 738.M41. Epistolatory Sigenus of the Lamenters had visions of a huge beast opening its mouth and swallowing a planet known as Radnar. After being tormented for months by this vision he went to the leaders of the Lamenters. He told them of this and after much debate it was decided that there was going to be a new threat arise from around Ultramar. After Sigenus was rigorously screened for chaos influence and cleared, serious talks about what kind of threat this is and what should be done about it begin. After considering for over a year Sigenus had a new vision. It was of a space marine chapter that didn’t exist. In his dream he saw black and blue armor falling from the sky and bringing the Emperor’s wrath to the Xenos. He told the leaders of the Lamenters and then lobbied for the formation of the new chapter. 14 years later he managed to convince everyone that it was the right course of action. It took only one more year for the Chapter to be formed. It was started with 500 marines, mostly from the Lamenters Chapter but some were drawn from the neophytes that were still to finish the rituals to be a scout. This was done so that some of the marines wouldn’t have been from another chapter. Epsitolatory Sigenus over saw all of this with feverish intensity. He was bent to complete this task that he felt the Emperor himself had set on his shoulders to complete. After the year 750.M41, The Order of the Brothers Tempest were at full battle strength. This was done with great speed and most of the thanks belongs to Sigenus. Epistolatory Sigenus was made Head Librarian of The Order of the Brothers Tempest for his vision and his obvious blessing from the Emperor.
Home World: In 741.M41 the first Tyrannic War began with the arrival of Hive Fleet Behemoth. This was only 4 years after the founding of The Order of the Brothers Tempest but Sigenus was convinced that this is what the vision had warned him about. He told the Chapter Master Vlade of this and the Brothers Tempest put 6 companies worth of marines on Radnar to prepare for the arrival of the Beast. There was no direct Tyranid attack. Sigenus was confused about what had happened. He was sure that Radnar was in great danger but no attack had come that the PDF couldn’t handle. Just when Sigenus was about to despair the Beast showed its head. From the underhive thousands of genestealer cults poured onto the surface of the planet. Sigenus and all of the other marines were shocked but they didn’t hesitate with their reactions. They drove the Cults back down into the depths of the underhive killing thousands as they did so. If it hadn’t been for the presence of the Brothers Tempest the Cults would have overrun the planet. The populace of planet loved the marines and requested that they stay on the planet. The Order of the Brothers Tempest established a fortress on the planet in 742.M41 and in 838.M41 the Brothers Tempest made Radnar their home world.
Combat Doctrine: The Order of the Brothers Tempest follow the guidelines of Codex Astartes loosely. While they follow most of the tactics they emphasize the parts that instruct more on the city and Xenos fighting. This is largely because of their position on their home world of Radnar. They thrive in city fighting, especially when the city fighting involves Xenos. They usually deploy in groups of 2-3 squads and work independently from each other to achieve objectives. It is rare for more than 5 squads to be deployed in the same war zone. Since they specialize they tend to be called on when there is city fighting or Xenos fighting to be done. When fighting else where they prefer the drop pod insertion method or to be teleported into battle. This explains the lack of tanks in their ranks. They are brutally efficient raiders that strike hard and fast. A normal raid involves the shosen forces using drop pods or teleport to get to the battle and Thunder Hawks for extraction. The Order of the Brothers Tempest have narrow battle field roles in which they are masters but, like all space marines they are more than able to fill any position given to them.
Gene Seed: The Order of the Brothers Tempest gene seed is derived from the Lamenters, which is derived from the Blood Angels. The Blood Angels gene seed has had a history for producing blood thirsty space marines, as can be shown in one of their successor chapters, the Flesh Tearers. The Lamenters, however, have not had a problem with this but they have made a bad decision here and there. The most significant one being when they sided with the Astral Claws during the Badab War. They were forgiven however and as punishment were given a hundred year crusade to complete and are still on that Crusade today. With the combination of the Black Rage of the Blood Angels and the poor judgement of the Lamenters the Order of the Brothers Tempest is watched closely by the Inquisition. They are also required to send a sample of their gene seed to Mars twice as often as the rest of the chapters. While their gene seed hasn’t ever had any problems or defects the Inquisition feels that it is better to be safe than sorry.
Organization: The Order of the Brothers Tempest are a fairly standard codex chapter with a few major exceptions.
The 1st Company is rarely deployed as a group or even at the squad level. They are instead broken up into the squads of the battle companies. Ths was started in the year 838.M41 when the captain of the 4th company, Sanctus, was made Chapter Master. Sanctus felt that it would be best to spread the experience of the chapter throughout to help the newer recruits learn faster. He also saw that the combat capabilities of his battle companies would be much higher with the more experienced Battle Brothers.
Secondly the 4th Company has never left the planet Radnar as a whole. They have been deployed at the squad level but hardly ever more. The largest deployment off world after Radnar was made their home world was in 948.M41. That was when Captain Moren led five squads to Armageddon during the third war for Armageddon. This is because during the attempt to purge Radnar of the gene stealer cults during 890.M41-900.M41 they distinguished themselves, proving to be the best among the chapter at fighting Xenos. They were given the post of guarding Radnar against the gene stealer cults.
Because they prefer the drop pod and teleport insertion method they do not have very many tanks or transports. This has even further limited the use of bikes. There are very few bikes in any size force. Their main use is for raids that are on fixed enemy positions on planets the Order of the Brothers Tempest already have a presence on. There are, however, a large number of Dreadnoughts in the chapter. This is because of two reasons. One is that the Dreadnought can be inserted into battle by a drop pod and provides a solid fire base that can fulfil any battlefield role. The second is that the Order of the Brothers Tempest revere the lives of their battle brothers and hate losing even one. So they entomb their warriors more often than other chapters do in Dreadnoughts.
The last major difference in organization is in each battle company there is one squad of initiates that only recently became full battle brothers. They are given a bolt pistol and chain sword for their first battle. They serve as infiltrating assault troops. This is the final test for the new battle brothers.
Beliefs: As do all chapters of space marines the Order of the Brothers Tempest revere the Emperor as their lord. Also like all chapters they have a special place for their Primach. The Order of the Brothers Tempest look to Sanguinius as the father of their chapter since their gene seed can be traced to the Blood Angels. Along with both of these figures Sigenus is hailed as the founder of their chapter. It was Sigenus’s vision that allowed the Order of the Brothers Tempest to become a chapter.

Good thing for Sigenus too, because if he was wrong they woulda roasted 'im. XD. The only thing you may wanna edit is that they openly worhsip Sanguinius as thier Primarch. We all know the Lamenters are Blood Angels, but the Lamenters keep it a secret and nobody but them (and us..wink wink) knows this. Maybe you could put something like "it is rumoured" or something like that in there. Just a suggestion though the fluff is fine as it stands. ^_^
Nice.. I think you've genuinely improved on it.
I still really wish there was some reference to the fact that the Lamenters are cursed founding chapter (and hence they're not known to be a BA successor chapter, they're suspected of being one.) But if you don't want to do it, I won't complain. The fluff is good.
Well my ignorance has shown through again. I didn't know that the Lamenters weren't open about how they are Blood Angels successors. I apologize if anyone tried to tell me this and my 2 inch thick skull didn't pick up on it. I will change that. I think that it will sound better that way too. One more thing, as far as you guys know are my dates right. Like the 26th founding date and all.

Pretty sure the dates are correct..they match all the Timelines I can find.
It's basically sound, but as usual I'm nitpicking.
The founding sounds awkward. The High Lords affirm the creation of a new chapter, but I suppose with the backing of the Inquisition after Sigenus' vision, particularly if the Inquisitorial Representative was present and knew of the screening of Sigenus. Chapters are also founded from raw geneseed and then clones are created, they don't splinter off active battle-brothers from other chapters. The process to get them up to full strength (1,000 marines) takes about 50 years, but if you wanted less you could say it took 25 (as you said about 500 being the first active members; the Inquisition has pull on these matters), but I can't see how Sigenus could have sped this up in any way.
And a few squads to Armageddon... although it might be difficult to commit a lot of forces seeing as the Brothers are on the Eastern Fringe, I can't see any chapter committing any less than a company in a major conflict like Armageddon; the risks seem too great. But this is a personal interpretation.
And lots of dreadnoughts... I'm not sure, but I think the designs for dreadnoughts are ancient. They'd need some ties with the Adeptus Mechanicus to stand much of a chance of having more than just a few dreadnoughts, either built or maintained.
Aside from that, it's a good storyline which adds a nice flavour to the Lamenters as well as creating the Brothers Tempest. Good job!
By only sending a few squads to the battle for Armmeggeddon I was trying to show that they werer a speicialist chapter. Then as they grew bigger they would be able to send more. I want my chapter to be about infiltrating and city fighting. I know that it seems rideiculous to send only a few squads to the conflict but I need to show that they are speicialist and that not many are needed to do their job well. If you have another way I could show this please tell me because this was a spot that I had my doubts about also.

You could say what the squads did and how they helped the battle. By demo-charging a few ork roks, you could easily help the resistance. Of course, I really don't know all that much about Armageddon or Orks for that matter, but just a suggestion
