This thread of course is just for fun. Using the rules for any existing army, try to use them to represent a completely different army from any other universe.
-I am a fan of the Dune Series, so what fun would it be to play as House Atredies. To represent them, one could use the rules for Slannesh Noise Marines (to represent their prototype sonic blasters), and use Kroot to represent Fremen allies (w/ Shapers armed w/ Flamers representing Fedyakin armed w/ Sonic weaponry). Heavy Support is either Fremen Sandworms (built with Creature Feature), or Atredies Sonic Tanks. Fast attack is the result of VDR, flying Ornihopters.
-Prior to the Great Jedi Purge, the Council was able to field small armies of highly trained Jedi to do battle. Though unarmored, they were swordsmen without compare, and adept wielders of the Force. To represent them, use the core rules for Eldar Harlequins. For the HQ, the Shadowseer is the quintessial example of a Jedi, using mind powers to stop enemies from shooting or assaulting. Venom Transports can be modified to Landspeeders, and Jetbikes can be modeled w/ Swoops. Death Jesters can represent ARC Clone Commandos assigned to the team, as they use their blasters and Missile Launchers to take out heavy ordnance.
I honestly don't think this is relevent or in the apropriate section. Conversion or geniral discutuion are a much beter fit for the topic.
Thanks. Is there a way for me to move this post or to delete it?
Well I don't think that anyone but mods can move a thread but you can copy what you wrote and post it in one of those areas as a new thread. If you then want to make these posts go away you can delete them in the edit menu.
